Thanks. I also want to know how do I put servers in Qrack. I try to join games but it says that the server list is empty to press Ins, I do press it but nothing happens. How to I put servers in the game so I can play online?

There should be a file called servers.lst in your base quake directory (eg c:\games\q1).

or better yet,
1. create a file called servers.lst (the extension is short for List) in your base quake directory (same place that your glqrack.exe file is).
2. open the file with notepad or wordpad and copy the following code into the file.
3.startup qrack and under multiplayer->server list you should see all the following servers.

Rook, can you please add support for 'large' maps?

I'm working on some singleplayer maps and I can run them on fitzquake and darkplaces. Darkplaces doesn't run as well as qrack and neither fitzquake or darkplaces looks as good as qrack does.

When I switch to window mode and try to exit the Quake window and multi-task, my mouse is bound to the Quake window and can only move within the dimensions of the quake window?

Also when I try to run GLQrack.exe a window pops up after I double-click the EXE and says

"The publisher cannot be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?"

thats most likely the computer being a lil bitch, msense you know its rook, you should hit yes

i was playing with GL_SPHERE_MAP

i want to play qrack with 24bit textures for the original ID maps. I downloaded the textures but i cant seem to get them to work..

i put them in the qrack/textures and i even tryed qrack/progs/textures but no luck

i made sure gl_externaltextures_bmodels 1.... and the two others were set on and still no luck :/

if anyway can help will be appreciated and also how do you get other charsets or whatever they are called and how to get them to work in qrack.. :S

i have pak1.pak if that changes anything

make sure gl_external_textures_world is set to 1
or you DONT have -no24bit set

i don't think qrack reads .pk3'z? or was it had to be in numerical order like pak#, you know, the usual.
