Looks like it saves the screenshots in the gamedir in a screenshots folder. For normal Quake, that would be "Quake\id1\screenshots".Comment

Have a folder called "Quake".
Inside, create another folder called "id1".
Put Darkplaces.exe into \Quake
Put pak0.pak and pak1.pak into \id1
voila.Comment

Press the reset button on your machine, when you hear the BEEP press CTRL+ALT+DEL do this until the power goes out, and life will be simpler.Comment

My guess is that he downloaded some oddball pak1.pak off the internet so he would have "registered Quake". But it wasn't the proper pak1.pak but some other one.Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages.
