Same problem R00k, I loaded up DM3.
Also, I found out the powerup shells only outline the gun now. Originally, if you set gl_powerupshells to 1...it would cover the gun all around nicely.
You don't notice anything until you set gl_powerupshell_size to something and again..It just outlines the edges and such.

It appears that r_novis "1" is causing the visible area problems on certain maps like dm3.
This is all too familar...Lol.

gl_powerupshell_size less than 6 will draw it like normal now...

Cool, the latest build seems to fix the issue with the windows mouse cursor appearing while loading maps.
I know I've said this before, but I must compliment the work you've done with the mouse in Qrack, R00k. There is no other game out there that feels as smooth with my gaming mouse. I mean really, the screen moves in Qrack the exact millisecond that I touch the mouse. It's hard to find a game that has no mouse lag whatsoever.

DirectQ has Raw input for mouse as well. . (/me burns a copy of the source to CD)...

V I know your playing on a laptop, havent you tried DirectQ? I get >1900 fps in timedemo demo2 vs 1600 for Qrack. Just worth mentioning if your fps suffer in Qrack.Last edited by R00k; 01-09-2012, 11:48 PM.

But as for the console thing, can you make it like Proquake? the moving forward should stop if you let go of the button. that's how it works in proquake. if you can do that, that would be awesome. it's not exactly right where you have to hit the button again for it to stop moving forward.

The black wall bug is the decal code. Not sure if it's always been there or not.

The black wall bug can be seen every time in this map I uploaded:

It only happens with certain walls. I shouldn't have said "random" in my previous post, because I think the same walls in the same maps always turn black when you fire around them. The map I uploaded is just a cube test room. If you pick up the super Nailgun and fire in any direction in the room, one of the walls will turn black. This did NOT happen in Qrack 190. I just checked.
Edit: Here is a screenshot of the bug. It happens to the wall nearest to the Quad Damage. Rambo, you should download the map I posted above and see if this happens to you. The map is only 12kb.
