    That's the problem, I can't run darkplaces properly , it looks like I need a new computer. But nobody seems to know darkplaces' minimum requirements... A geforce 9400M is enough?

    Btw, I would appreciate if you release (or point out) some tutorial on skinning. It's impossible to me to find comprehensible information about skinning/texturing. But don't rush, I can wait until you finish the skins .

    • @luizera: As far as I know, Lordhavoc didn't provide such information.
      Just to give a reference, I was able to play darkplaces + rygel's hi-res-textures with a 3d1-sli + 2gb-ram + quadcore, but now I can support ultra.res.textures and our max res skins at over 150fps, so it's not easy to give an estimation.

      If you mean skinning in quake I'm glad to give you some tips, but you already can find very good tutorials out there.

              Fully correct. Shub-Niggurath is also a H.P. Lovecraft figure.

              Maybe, Nergal and Alfader, you can "re-skin" Shub Niggurath more Lovecraft-like in the future. I mean hundreds of eyes on the body or something like that. Picture-Google for it and you will find some great paitings.

                I'd really like to know more about the lore behind the quake enemies. We did a bit of research back when we started doing skins, but it could definetely help having more infos to work with.

                Then, this is part of a texture we're using for another version of the zombie.
                This one is going to be a mess of blood and flesh meat, while we're no more happy with the former, that will be reworked to be the faithful version.

                    (I also like that the blood is blacker- just like a dead body in real life of course- especially one old enough to rot so much or was mummified)

                      • Enforcer in action is awesome, even can't kill him while watching at his new beautiful new skin (in DP with RTworld + rygel ultra textures enviroment) =)

                        Ogre on the screenshot looks like Gears of War beast, or even better, bravo!

                            • All the new models are simply superb. I've added the new enforcer and now the game (in the parts where enforcers are found) looks really good (of course, with rygel hd textures). In addition, these new character skins do not lose a bit of Quake's original 'taste'.

                              When will we be able to download the rest of them?
