Zerstorer Chain-lighting-gun reskin

a happy accident this one.
You see, I love the classic model for the 'thunderbolt' and was editing primevil's skin for said model (re-colouring and shading for a more classic look) when I realised it would be a simple job to edit this skin even further for the C-L-G!

and this is the result! - pic

I've put my version of the thunderbolt skin in the pack too...

sorry to keep double posting but I've just realised something awesome for Zerstorer users.
If you play zerstorer with quake-reforged why not use the alternative enforcer skin from qrf as a new skin for the mega enforcer! (just dont forget to rename all the files from enforcer to enforce2!)
its perfect for representing the original; a slightly different looking enforcer! cool eh?

...and yes, I realise many of you have probably already done this...

Is that thunderbolt for Zerstorer? Nice idea Osjclatchford, I think to recolour the alternative skin to match the original (was blue if I'm correct) would be a good idea

thunderbolt is for any quake
chain lightning gun is for zerstorer

as for the 'blue' re-colouring; if you mean the enforcer then, yes a blue reskin would be closer to the original I suppose, but if you mean the chain-lightning-gun, then no, It was the same colour as the old thunderbolt. (as shown in the preview) You might be thinking of painkeep's clg which I believe was blue...

its a completely different model and skin that is used for painkeep...

this skin is intended for zerstorer only...

FYI I've found that changing the gloss file of the alternative enforcer skin from a green tinge to a blue tinge works quite nicely, its obviously not exactly the same as the old one but its a good way of using both enforcer skins in the same game!

There are tons of good projects/mods that need a reskin: Neharhra, Zerstorer, Abyss of Pandemonium, Travail, Soul of Evil....but Osjchlatchford can't generate multiple copies of himself

I see, that he's the only one attempting to make all of this.. It's OK, but I think that Nehahra deserves a priority..
Can the "Seal of Nehahra" movie chracters be re-skinned? If there's some kind of template I would try to make Sgt. Maxwell and Jack Torres ones..

never did get nehahra to work years ago and haven't tried it since...
don't even know who those characters are!

It's easy to make it work with darkplaces, just follow the command line with "-nehahra +playdemo intro.dem"

The new textures and effects makes a very good atmosphere, but the main chracters are REALLY low quality..
