Well, I guess you guys ought to ban me then, because I dont care who you think you are or what your number of posts here are, if you do something spiteful just to piss me or someone else off and you make it personal by restricting my free speech or punishing my account because I told you if we were face to face and you did this, you would get your lights punched out, and you take it as a threat, then so be it. I just left a site I was on for 6 years and paid good money to be on, and when I said the people giving support are probably some rainbow ***s or women who cant run a business, they took it personally and deleted my acct.

I wouldn't say this at work or at a restaurant or anywhere for that matter because this is unprofessional and disrespectful. So why would that be okay to say to someone on a forum? Even as a joke over the internet, people aren't going to read that as a joke. Text doesn't really convey that very well.

I guess you could say I identify with being targeted for standing up for yourself. These days you speak your mind people take offense and fly off the handle. So if someone here who has power on the site believes threats made = automatic ban, Im saying ban me now , because there are cases when people do spiteful things just because "they can". I cited the case where I paid for 6 years perfectly ontime on another site and all of a sudden, the policy was everyone has to agree to a common view on sexuality, race and most likely religion and politics. They didnt let me know policy changed, and over charged the CC and deleted the account when I told them exactly how I felt about it in an email, not mincing words or sugar coating it. Apparently they took offense and instead of the person who has the problem taking initiative on their own to face me , the chickens way out is to suspend or delete the account without warning.

So yea, if I knew who this was Male, Female, Black, White chinese - I dont have a problem punching them right in the face, because they deserve it.

Freedom of speech shouldn't be confused with insulting someone. It's the personal choice of words that people let fly out of their mouths before running it through a common sense filter that usually gets them snagged in the "PC net".

The internet is a very empowering place, it can turn wimps into winners and 90lb soaking wet small guys into incredible hulk ("Dude I bench over 300, come at me brah!").

While I don't take people's threats over the internet personally unless the person physically knows me, knows where I live or I think they have the ability to extract that type of data. It should still be treated as a direct threat, since one can pose threatening both physically or verbally to someone.

People need filters or they tend to say things hastily without thinking of where it could put them in the view of others.

I think Mindz is both courageous and respectful for admitting his fault especially on the internet where it's so easy to turn around and say "I don't care, it's just the internet".

I think the thoughts of those that are prejudiced are logically incorrect, but when I see a super-SJW try to snuff out every incident of the word, I can easily say they're being way too extreme.

we all want the ability to say what we want, when we want. as human beings, that's understandable. but, going about it in this manner seems distasteful at the very least. this thread all ready had plenty of stink to it (no offense mindz, none of your doing), so let's not make it any worse.

Right! I would support you if you had anything good to say -- but hate speech, insults and threats aren't really a good thing.

Instead of insulting whomever for whatever small internet issue you have, why not take a second and say, "huh, maybe I shouldn't say this because it shows me in a negative light." Then retype your message and make a better point.

I've never understood people who say they will never change. We're ever evolving creatures and we're constantly learning. When you say you won't change, it's like you gave up already.
