    Flash, Acrobat Reader, Java seem to what most malware enjoys to exploit these days.

    I was using Google Chrome on Windows. Then I discovered FireFox with adblock is WAY faster, pages load better, no stupid flash ads that make noises, etc.

    Flash exploits seem to be the main way to get a virus these days, and with adblock you aren't using Flash hardly at all.

    The only reason people use Google Chrome is that handles Flash crashes very easily and FireFox doesn't. But in the meantime, the reason pages load slow is the 5 or 6 Flash ads --- and these can be malware exploits (!) --- load 8 MB or sound or video I don't want to see.
    Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

    So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

      Yep, FF and AB+ is the only way to go.

      The only reason I know computer viruses still exist is because I clean them off other peoples computers all the time... all. the. time.

      This kind of reminds me of a funny thing that happened at work not too long ago. My boss called me up one evening to ask what program he needed to open a certain type of document file. I said try and open it on my computer (the only decent pc in the whole place, the rest suck or are macs) and if it didn't work just google it.

      The next morning I log on and I'm greeted by TEN THOUSAND pop-ups, firefox has fifteen freakin' toolbars installed that all blink and make noises and a handful trial software is installed.... -_-

      My co-worker who was there that night said he was only on for like 5 minutes. wow. At that rate a reformat would be the only option after an HOUR.

      I've heard that 99% of computer issues are user errors. I believe it.

          They make an AdBlock for Chrome, and your right' it's epic. Like your "Front Line" of Pawn's [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5JtKj3rUFE]PAWN - YouTube[/ame]

          https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...namgkkbiglidom<-AdBlock 4 Chr

          I thought I would also tout that G.Chrome is the King of the Hill in performance ;P Peacekeeper - free universal browser test for HTML5 from Futuremark

          My Scores,
          Chrome = 2713 , 7 out of 7 rated
          Chrome 2nd Test = 3744 , 7 out of 7 rated

          FireFox = 996 , 2 out of 7 rated
          FireFox 2nd Test = 1006, 2 out of 7 rated

          While I expected Chrome to be a BIT faster, these results are way more skewed than I was expecting! Just Wow, and THAT was a fresh install of FF as well, installed less than 2min ago,Chrome install is w/e I had currently installed, lol.I'm retesting this shit,cuz well,yeah .This seems over exaggerated ,but I can confirm that several tests failed during the FireFox testing, and Chrome flawlessly executed every test.

          On another note, I hate Internet Exploder, but I love this commercial [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYRbYzgAvSA[/ame]
