Well last night we played as well Full server up until like 3 or 4 in the morning, it was awesome. I'm guessing people will play a lot, everynight if people are around
Hey guys. I'm a Quaker from long ago, just found this site. I have a copy of original Quake. Should I bother or are the clients available here easier to deal with as far as patches/etc? I'm way out of the loop so any info is welcome! Thanks!
If you have a quake install all you need is the threewave downloads. Frenzy has a website with detailed instructions for setting it all up, here's the address Frenzy's Quake Help
If you want to try a new client, give qrack a try, it's what I use. If you need any help getting your config together for it, I'll post my config.
I know I saw Frenzy online at about 11pm so when i connected he had left since. I idled for about 15 minutes or so (alt-tabbed) but around 12am (or so) i saw CD online, but by then I was 4 beers in and sleepy
Will you go ahead and post that config, CD? It will be much appreciated. If I get Qrack do I still need to install off my original Quake CD or is it the whole game?

I used to play CTF on occasion as well. What all do I need to get back in the swing of things? I cant remember, does ctf require a mod like TF or can you just download the maps (via the link from a few pages back)?
If I just use WinQuake will I be able to connect to the server, as I cant get ezQuake to run?
