Yep there were... But not very gruesome or realistic looking. I was watching discovery health and they were doing open heart surgery, the insides looked completely different than in doom3. DarkPlaces could probably make them look uber-realistic. Is LordHavoc planning to do that? Uber-realistic gibs and bodies?
Thats a matter of a mod, new models, skins, and a modified progs.dat specifying to add the additional corpses (assuming you mean corpses placed in levels rather than just different gibbings of players).
I know in the later stages of Quake10Year, Kedhrin wants to return to ultraviolence so to speak
Yeah Quake is young and vibrant, one of the latest games to be released!
Get a better argument, Doom is a different game and its just as fun as Quake, though not as close to the heart, personally speaking.
What argument? I'm not arguing anything, I'm telling you to do something.
The opposite is true for me, Doom holds about ten times more ground with me than Quake.

Doom is teh old. We've played it over and over and over... It gets boring.
You deserve to be hanged.

Bank read more carefully, f0qer made a comment about Doom being old while speaking for Quake. I then made a sarcastic remark about how young Quake obviously is, and then said, without stating a new subject, to get a better argument, thus addressing f0qer.
I like Doom and find nothing wrong with it, but I enjoy Quake more (the collision detection has a lot to do with it, oddly enough).
