    You have it in .map I am assuming.
    Take all the textures you're using and make a wad with them inside. Then change the entities to match Q1 and should be done then.
    Im just starting to learn mapping - that's what I did when I converted a Q3 map. Buggy as hell as I decompiled the bsp to map but it worked.

      Update 0.2 Alpha

      THE DARK ZONE 0.2 ALPHA

      Changes:

      -Changed the sky
      -Some lighting changes
      -Changed the teleporter effects
      -A window has been added around the Super Machinegun area (Super Nailgun area)
      -Changed the floor texture in the Plasma Gun area (Nailgun area)
      -More details added to the walls and ceilings (textures, curved surfaces, etc.)
      -Added weapons, ammo and armor

            I found this code in the sky shaders, it says lightning. I try to enable it but it just says it's invalid while I try it in game. Does anyone know how to get a lightning effect for my sky? I've tried heaps of things but they don't work.

                  Looks great so far. I do find the sky to be off with the map however. If it's that bright it would also be partially lighting the map - but there is no evidence of that. I would say make the sky night with the lightning or give the maps lighting in the open roof areas partially the same lighting.

                    Some new shots, different sky.


                    More lightning, rain AND GARGOYLES!

                    Outside environment for the windows.

                    More rain, lightning and some detail added to the ceiling.

                    What the (new) sky looks like without the lightning.

                    Lava, minor details added to the steps and more windows!

                    Halos AND MAPOBJECTS!

                    More lightning, Jesus statue and dead bodies dripping with blood hanging on walls.

                    Minor details changed/added to the walls, a dead body with a sickle? through his heart stuck to the wall and skull torches!

                    Removed green fog, added an orange pit of death, details added to the walls and floors and torches!

                    Glowing demon skull with thorns? added!

                    Rotating pentagram!

                      True Quake III Arena style. Even better.
                      I want see thi map in Quake Live too, heh why id soft not allow maps in QL? they must add it. Write in quakelive forums maybe they do it?

                              Video looks very dark - is that just the quality or is the actual ingame brightness? If so it needs to be brightened up a bit.

                              Also with the lightning strikes - able to make the map lighting also show that (the map also flashes brighter)
