        Looks interesting. I loved dungeon master, even though i sucked at it. I'm not really a fan of how they kept the square-based movement though, that really isn't needed. They could have put in a simple regular system, maybe one that feels kinda like how old TES games did it.

          I hope this game makes present day games good again, sick of all the repetitive boring shit.

            Yep, it's like all these newer games make you spend $60 more just to see the leafs on trees clearer and good graphics in a game are important however graphics should come secondary to gameplay ALWAYS.

            There are a multitude of FPS I haven't finished but decided to just "F-Around" in like
            FarCry(Though I did eventually finish it. Gameplay was some-what fun but to much of a "twist" in the story to be anywhere near believable.)
            Doom3(finished it with cheats. Not worth the money for this shooter on wheels.)
            Quake4 reminds me of Doom3 but with circuit boards.)
            Crysis (Played the hell out of 30 minutes of crysis demo. This game felt so cloned I might as well have been playing Farcry with a couple mods.

            Games today aren't setting standards, they are setting niches.

            Doom3 = Demonic niche
            Quake4 = Space monsters niche.
            Farcry = Mutant niche
            Crysis = Alien niche?"

            These have all been done WAY before 2000.

            Doom3 is obviously a pretty clone of Doom 1,2,3. However newage graphics make it seem better to some.

            Quake4 was just an extra kick in the face along with Quake 2. Strogg? WTF? That's not believable or completely unbelievable! It's predictable and annoying.

            Farcry felt like a complete tech-demo showing on Shader 3.0 and ragdoll physics.

            Crysis. It tried to be original and out of the line up I have above it kind of is original. However Crysis has brought nothing new to the table that old game haven't, besides graphics.

            and kids go crazy for this stuff? shel out $60 every time they want to play the same game with a "twist" FVCK THAT.

            I don't want MORE GAMES. I just want 1 good game every now and then.

              Don't want to start something here, but did you even try to use the nanosuit? 90% of the time people say Crysis didn't do anything new and people don't even learn how to use the nanosuit, that's why they made it a total piece of shit and dumbed it down ridiculously in the sequel to be basically the same as Halo, with some extras instead of something different.

              If you actually use the suit in unconventional ways the game is really fun (except the aliens but who the hell cares about them anyway, Crytek can't make creatures for shit)

                    I can see why people wouldn't like Doom 3 or Quake 4 but saying they're clones is blasphemous, I thought they were great games. I found Doom 3 nothing like any of the older ones, it was horror orientated and if I were you I'd play the game again without cheats. Cheating's for noobs, are you a noob?

                    Quake 4 was predictable because it was a sequel to Quake 2, I didn't find it anything like Doom 3. Quake 4 seemed more action filled, the only think related to Doom 3 is that it had a few jump scenes. Overall it has a new feel of Quake and had more storyline compared to Quake 2. Crysis had a good theme but I didn't really appreciate the storyline, but I found the nanosuit pretty original.

                    And where the hell are you getting your games from? Doom 3 and Quake 4 were only about 10-15 dollars for me.

                        That is the best news for weeks !!

                        Almost Human deserves a thousands sells.
                        They had a vision, listened to their fans and made everything right.
                        Brave enough to put amazing work into a niche type game.

                        And Thank good it is not a "steam-only" product.

                          I am sorry for double post, but I have to write some more words about this game...

                          Many many pages have reviewed this real gem now.
                          All of them have come to the same result:
                          This is a masterpiece in every viewpoint.

                          This small group of developers have managed to create something, which is not done everyday.
                          - The graphics are amazing
                          - the riddles are intelligent and never frustrating
                          - the gameplay is fantastic

                          Thank god, the masses honored it and bought this game many times, so that the teams future is save. We will benefit from it by expecting more "mission packs" and addons.

                          Just look at these screenshots.

                          The lighting of this engine is gorgeous:

                          The effects of this game are really beautiful:

                          This is my new desktop wallpaper:

                          I will take a break of Quake and dive into mountain grimrock now ...
                          Seven.

                            From the trailer, I can say:

                            The models, texturing, animation, well executed colour scheme, range of lighting, art and music are pretty good. They must have a good team to be able to pull this off (and proper creative direction, as well as discipline).

                            Hats off.

                            Is the gameplay tile based? Looks like it.

                                Yes it is. I haven't started a game yet, but I helped my dad through some parts (because he sucks and has horrible reflexes now because he's old but he'll never admit it because apparently being fat and depressed is his version of 'healthy") but it plays just like dungeon master but more player-friendly (though still difficult). That's not a bad thing mind you, but basically if you played DM then you should have no trouble getting into this.

                                In fact the only reason I haven't played it yet is because my dad keeps raving about this game and he's generally annoying as fuck so I'm going to wait until he isn't even thinking about it to play it
