That's not a bad thing mind you, but basically if you played DM then you should have no trouble getting into this.

In fact the only reason I haven't played it yet is because my dad keeps raving about this game and he's generally annoying as fuck so I'm going to wait until he isn't even thinking about it to play it

Or else your adventure will be chock full of unwanted Spoilers in the form of "have you reached this yet?" and "Did you know you can do this?". My son started playing Skyrim and it was on like donkey kong, everytime he did something uberfantastic he would tell me to look look. lol

The next time I fired u Skyrim I was told I need to play it more I'm at level such and such, haha. Silly kids

            Hello Legend,

Did you contact the devs in their forum ?
            They are very helpful people.
I also had issues running it first time.
You know what my problem was ?
I did not install the last DirectX version from 2010. LOL
I use XP and only play OpenGL games, so my DirectX version was from 2009 or something.

There is a patch to 1.1.4 available already.
I guess your issue can be solved.
It would be a pity if you (as a classic game lover) cannot play this gem.

            Good luck.

Reminds me of "Wizardry 7: Crusaders of The Dark Savant"
To this day... still a good game. Still play it every now and then. Grimrock looks interesting, I'll probably buy it.

                    Hello,

The best atmospherical dungeon game just got better:

And a sequel has been started "Legend of Grimrock 2" with outdoor areas !

The lighting of this engine + game is simply amazing...

I have loved games like dungeon master or eye of the beholder. LoG is simply beautiful! A very nice mix between old and new skool

I'm getting a Stonekeep Sharga Mines vibe off of that first screenshot. The screenshot of the outside area just looks absolutely stunning, I hope they include that area in a demo at some point.

Well, they said, that the outdoor area is a real screenshot of LoG2 WIP.
So, I think we are sure to see this beautiful area.

Imagine the new possibilities with outdoor areas in LoG2 compared to LoG.
That was something I really missed.
Also the new monsters look more than promising.

                              Holy Jesus !

I have to contact the Indie team "Almost Human" and ask if they can implement support for Quake in their next release

They really do magic with their engine lighting-wise.
How spooky can it get... ?

The outdoor sceneries are also really beautiful.

I wonder if the outside areas will be grid-based like all the dungeons, grid-based movement doesn't look fit for the screenshots I've seen of those outside areas.
