    Hi Pol,
If it helps you could use my VERY rough plain html draft of my notes on the Damage server including some adjustments for the 2 ppl who repeatedly crashed out and a couple that seemed to leave when they realised it was a tourney
I'll expand on it tomorrow , improve the formatting and give an overall score but feel free to expand on it or replace it with your own if you prefer. As I've had about 4.5 hours sleep in 48 hours I'm off to bed.

    kind regards

    Monty

Sorry for the no-show! I upgraded to an SSD hard drive, installed windows fresh this morning, and decided to try a new firewall called Comodo. It locked my computer down for about 45 minutes when I tried to load quake

lol , you did this on TOURNEY DAY? Jeesus bro, next time push that shit back 1 day! hell ,2 hours would have been sufficient!

four 15 minute games with 5 minute breaks inbetween, you missed some epic ass gaming. Seriously, just watch the demo's and get Jelly as hell

After having a little sleep I've updated my notes on the EuroQuake Damage server to incorporate some of the info Polarite very kindly supplied and add a few more facts and figures for posterity and those that like their stats. I'm currently trying to make a little time to convert those demos in to a basic video and will post back on the Damage site when it's complete.

I'd like to thank and commend all of those that played and send my congratulations to Sole for a truly great win. I hope all that took part enjoyed it, including the spectators, and hope that you enjoyed it enough for us to organise another FFA2RQ in the near future.

I would also like to thank Painkiller, Dee and EZ for their help and support, Peg for.. well.. [where do I start?] let's just say just about everything ...and last but by no means least Polarite for his generosity of spirit, understanding, and good natured support without whom the excellent server and this event would not have existed.

Oh and for those that prefer FFA/DM to RuneQuake.... Be afraid, be very afraid, FFA10 is coming!!

                Kind regards

                    Many congrats to Sole!

And big ups to young PieFace... he's the youngest Quaker from this lot. May he continue to improve at lightspeed. Beat me up during this tournament.

And what can I say about Royal. Hee hee... I love teasing the dude but he played great as usual. He is a force of crazy and good.

Fun times. And if you guys don't mind the idea I would love to suggest a 1v1 tournament in RuneQuake. Group stage, knockout stage, quarter final, semi final. Even if I got knocked out I would love to watch games, I think others might feel similarly.

This style of tourney was like no quake game I have played before. Esp the first map. It was utter chaos and death! hahah. I would be interested in more focused RQ battles: Royal vs Sole (oooh). PieFace vs Mindz. Dee vs Polarite, etc... and then of course my ultimate goal Dee vs Royal!!!!!!!!!

Big love to all from eastern Canada.

Happened on Shmack once... everyone left, it was just Royal and I. After about 10 minutes and a huge beatdown on him, he just left. The map was dm6.
