(excluding the handful of temporary IHOC servers I ran on Adelphia Cable)

Misc. things I've done for the Quake Community
-Helped Beta Test QuakeOne.Com prior to going public.
-Reported numerous bot's/hacks at various server's
-Created Quake Video's demo'ing "Quake Glitches" for everyones enjoyment.
-Created Quake Video's of Bomber,IHOC,and possible RuneQuake for promotion.
-Promoted Bomber/CAx during its infancy
-Promoted Rage/CAx during its infancy as a new server.
-Helped Clan eSx get on its feet by Co-Leading.(did most of the reqruiting)
-Helped Clan SNS get on its feet by Co-Leading(did most of the reqruiting,minus Sniper/Bank)
-Helped Clan INF get on its feet. (restarted inside IHOC with Krazee)
-Helped run several "2on2 CA tournies" that Frenzy established
-Helped re-establish CA "Clan Activity" twice.
-Created countless signature/avatar images for various Quake Community members.
-Fixed ClanHDz's download for QuakeNameMaker (it was lacking several DLL/OCX type files)
-Defended a well known asshole in the IHOC community when he started to behave and play nicely.Name:Elumin,which everyone hated.
-Submitted Cheats once I obtained them,for being blocked in CAx servers.


I'm tired of listing shit...honestly. no one gives a fuck what I've done for the community in the past/present,and no one gives a fuck about what Phenom's done for the community in the past/preset,or anyone else for the matter.Some people are grateful,others could care less.Bringing shit like this to their attention doesnt change a thing.

I just tried to connect just now and it didn't work. Frenzy submitted a news item on it weeks ago, I tried to connect and it didn't work (so I left it in the queue).

Well, I hate to say this but Mindz and others will confirm this:

The chi.quakeone.com server had the crappiest connection of any server I have ever played on.

I had 27 ping, but huge packet loss (sometimes jump and firing was not acknowledged causing me to die or fall in a fight). I get 70 ping at Rage and Dredd and had a better connection.

If I tried to play at chi.quakeone.com, the packet loss would cause me to not jump or not fire sometimes. "Weeee! I missed the DM3 jump at the mound even though I hit the key".

Mindz had the problem too. Tunda had 200 ping there! Tunda has 100 ping @ Essentrix St. Louis. There were several players with 150+ ping at Chi, players were not happy about the huge ping difference when rage.quakeone.com was briefly switched to chicago. This was not just me.

I'm telling you, Essentrix Chicago's connection some people is really, really BAD. I said it and no one listened to me.

Essentrix St. Louis = great. FatPipeServer.Net Chicago (the people that hosted chi.nailed.org) = Awesome. FatPipeServer.Net Dallas = Awesome.

Essentrix Chicago = Lousy

I agree with this section, can't comment on how the other servers handle really since I haven't ever had a smoother NQ game then on a Fatpipe Server

Phenom, I dont remember who I recruited into SNS. I just know from a vague memory (go go gadget marijuana memory!) that I recruited 90% of the original SNS roster, which I'd bet that 1/2 of the original roster isnt even SNS now.Not that I really care now,your back to being the same fuck you was back at the House of Cheese server's.

This post,and the one Chad made,are literally, a fucking joke. The interview that Chad gave to Phenom was good,minus the down-talk of DM3 players,that was a joke. I guess the CRMOD community is a joke too,since when its team-games played,they play DM3.

1. I care what you've done and I know what you've done, I don't need to see that list.

2. No matter what you or anyone does, people are going to forget what you've done. About 5 years ago, when I started "paying attention" in Quake for the very first time -- I was admining a Quake Help forum on the ancient RuneCentral forum (not the current one, the prior site) -- I wondered about "credit" briefly and I decided I didn't care about that all and that helping others was my only motivation.

Those that are important will be aware and remember what you've done and know the value you bring to the community. Casual players or intermittent members of the community will have no idea what you've done. It's just human nature.

If you are doing something for "credit", you are doing it for the wrong reason.

My sole motivation for listing what Yellow has done is to try to bring some context to the recent and counterproductive arguing.
