You are a solid player and Spooker, if he'd play some rocket arena, has some real potential for sure. Quad is a solid player. So there are 3 experienced players right there.

I'm not too familiar with the other players, although I think I would agree ... no offense intended ... that some of them would have a very hard time competing in game versus the roster of SNS.

There is no unity in today's Quake Clans as they pick them up and drop them faster then flies hit sh*t. Loyalty is obsolete and the Clan idea has turned into a joke for Quake 1. There was a time when Clans meant something to Quake1 and you held your name proud. Today.. pfffft why bother.

Net-Tyme; To that I respond, the next time you are in a clan, stick to it, and make the others stick to it. When people see an out and out clan in that sense as so articulately defined, they may just respond in kind.

Clan practice times for SNS will be Monday & tuesday at 7pm central time. SNS is a clan that started out being heavily based on the ClanArena server at max.essentrix.net & quake.ihoc.net but will not be limited to playing at these two servers. I expect all SNS members to download the small ClanArena mod from the SNS site and join max.essentrix.net and start participating on this server as I believe "CA" will build up your basic knowledge of a proper quake strategy.

If you cannot adapt to these practice times let Mindz or me know and we can work with you on practice times.

As for closing our doors. Yes, clan SNS will be closeing its doors soon to new members as I believe in quality over quantity. Its better to have few strong then many weak or as Tsun Tzu might have said "a $100 bill might be only one bill & 100 $1.00 bills might be many, but a $100 bill moves in a single motion."

SNS has t3h ()\/\//\//-\G3 CA'ER doods. Actually I don't know about PHENOM, but he would probably own me bad. I didn't join TU to get fame, I was just bored one day and someone (i think gamefreak) recruited me. After all TU means Totally Useless. Nothing great about that.

As for ownage Ca players. I'm a decent CA'er I wouldn't call myself the best by a long shot, but I can hold my own. I do excell at the IHOC servers, I would populate Shmack more often if I could figure out why my weapon doesn't file 3/4's of the time which makes my Shmack experince extremely irritating hence you rarly see me at Shmack.

Pita , SOVS created eSx back in April/May of 2003. Typically when a Leader falls on the battlefield,someone else picks up the reigns and takes charge of things.I was denied that privlege several times,and decided enough was enough.If that makes me a bad guy,then I'll oblige that role happily.
If that doesnt measure up to your etiquette for Clan Loyalty , its too bad you arent leading your own clan,you'd make a great leader.

Yeah, Quad told me ESX fell apart... No wonder you were in SNS. I thought you were a traitor Mindz. I guess I was wrong. Well, now QUAD is in TU (Totally Useless) like Me, Gamefreak, Spooker, d rouen, pita, and many other people. What names do you go by baker? You should get on at like 8:00 PM EST. I'm never on in the late hours of the night (10:00+ EST)

At first I was alittle upset that Mindz left. I really was. I was going to ask why his name was in the SNS list but then I found out when he declared himself as an ex-ESX.

Well, when I talked to him, he told me his side of the story, and now I understand what he's coming from and why he did it.

Well, that's why I decided to leave too. Yes I did say the words "eSx kinda fell apart". I admit to saying that, and I have my reasons, and I don't retract my statement.

SOVS was a good friend of mine until he stopped playing Quake. Then we didn't hear from him until rare instances. He seldomly plays Quake anymore, and last time I heard he has a grudge against RuneQuake, so he would never play at a RQ server.


If you want to brand me an eSx traitor, so be it. But get one thing straight - I thought it was the right thing to quit and move to a new clan when I realized that we basically had no more leaders, and really only two other active clan members aside from myself.


Pita - I made the mistake of lumping you with the TU clan as well, and I'm sorry, but that last thing you said....

No offense, but get one thing straight - I'm ALWAYS damn proud of my clan. How often did you ever see me on without my tag? Rarely - when I was playing as F1R3ST4RT3R, and that was it. I thought of eSx EVERY DAY I was in the clan. Hell, I wrote "eSx 4 Life" in my notebooks at school inbetween classes. Back in the Angels of Death, I made a T-shirt for my clan, although now it's a pillow because I grew out of it. I have an "ESX QUADRAPTOR" wristband.

A clan tag, and the clan I'm in, mean everything to me. It gives me a reason to continue playing, in hope that I can find my clan-mates while they're online....my friends. But it's more than that. Every time I play Quake, I'm representing my clan. That is something I am proud of.

Rune Quake isn't a game! its a mockery of Quake!

That is what i've found as of late. I always thought clans were supposed to have honor and respect for the game and those who play it.

Don't get hot and bothered by someone saying they dislike or hate RuneQuake, some people love it! some people haven't played anything else BUT RuneQuake. Some love it some hate it. I don't whine bitch & moan on forums or to other clans when someone comes on my server and says "Clan Arena sucks! of CAx sucks! I want CA+" or "Your server sucks" and this might sound very harsh if your a very sensitive person but I have an old saying I use to tell people who didn't like what I'm doing. ~Get over it or kill yourself~ I'm not one to sit around and cry about what other people say.

I've been playn Quake since its release and some of you have neen playn even longer then that, I was talking to one guy a while back who was at ID software when John Carmack was implementing some of the functions into Quake itself. Needless to say I've met alot of people, made friends and met people I didn't like. I got over it. What are you gunna do?

I honor and respect almost everyone I play on Quake and if you honestly think I'm hating you in real life or im actually sitting at my computer cursing you, your wrong, I'm usually laughing. If you could only see some of the ways me and a few of my friends talk to eachother sometimes, you'd understand it better but don't get upset at what people say thats being childish, and if you get bent out of shape about what I say, Then I would tell you to s*ck my motherf*cking d*ck. if you get upset because you felt like I actually intended for you to suck my dick then you seriously have problems.

I'm not here to defend myself or anyone else. I'm here because I see you have some issues running through your mind and you seeked answers. I'm not claiming to be nice, I'm not claiming to be mean or evil, I'm claiming to be me. If you want to change me then you might as well shit in one hand and wish in the other to see which one fills up faster.

I personally don't know you L3ftisM and I have no problems with you but you seem to be over emotional about "someone".

If you think your true old school and SNS is Pseudo old school then you obviously haven't put enough time into researching SNS befor you started writing your comment. I'd advise you to to read the first news post at the SNS website.

After much hard work and time preparing our website (which still isnt complete) , Clan SNS has decided
its time to start expanding. As of now we have two new members , SNS Baker and SNS FishDeath.

We plan on recruiting more players as the days pass, we hope to bring not only more members into the SNS Clan but even more importantly, revive a wounded and dying Clan Atmosphere for the greatest first person shooter to grace a Personal Computer. With the recent Quake1 dedicated community website http://www.QuakeOne.com being the first (at least, in a long time) successful venture into bridging the community gap between QuakeWorld and NetQuake , the possibilities are nearly endless, as once two divided versions of Quake are coming together thanks to the Administrators of www.QuakeOne.com whom are making it all possible.

The above news cast clearly shows how SNS is trying to not only become a well sized clan but also influence Quake players to join clans and non Quake players to join Quake and form clans to build up the Quake base.

Don't get it twisted when you hear someone "diss'n" you on Quake, if you haven't noticed by now your killing pixelized versions of men. If you want to have Bible study and tell other Quakers how you "Simple love their new hairdo" feel free but understand that Quake is a violent game. Expect volgarity.
