Bank, eSx was a *real* clan. Not some "gee let's start wearing tags and let everyone join clan". There is a world of difference between a professionally run clan like eSx and some of these "hey look, I made a tag in the Quake Name Maker" type of clans.

I know you are trying to help, but seriously, you don't know anything about this or the history of eSx.

He probably doesn't even know that I went through the same exact shit....TWICE.

I was in AOD for a while and then my cable went out a week, when it came back I jumped on and the clan wasn't around anymore, and claimed I "killed the clan" for not being around to play.

So I moved on to GotH, which also broke up unexpectedly. And eventually I was in LT for one summer, but after school started I never saw any of them again, and even tried to get in touch with them but to no avail.

My point is that he's lucky that he can get in contact with former clan members, despite what he really feels. I mean, I'd love to talk to [AoD]DoomHammer, Lt. Corvette, Sgt. Death, and Lt. DangerGirl again but I'll probably never see them again.

Besides, if LT had not broken up, I might have been still playing Quake 2, never found out about IHOC, never met SOVS, CatGirl, Apoc, Baker....long story short I might have never even come here to QuakeOne. So you never know.
