No offense but you either don't play enough or are just that fucking dense if you haven't seen kimp botting so don't say there is proof of active cheating in the community. Most of the people who liked him before have now turned their back on him because of this and they aren't the people who yell 'BOT' every time something questionable happens.

I don't play that much CA and I have seen him do it.

Seriously, if you don't like how you are being treated at one server, there are other options, even though they might not ping as good or might be less quality, there are other options.

When you complain about something (like Speaknow admin abuse) but fail to take direct action, you only feed the fire. We have a few other CAx servers which definitely deserve to be played on which donot seem to have an "admin issue". Me personally, I've only had an issue with one Speaknow admin, but that certain individual doesn't seem to play Quake anymore (Or maybe he does but undercover?).

I don't like the mentality of some of the Speaknow admins and luckily I haven't fallen into the category of bannable for being "leet".

Try getting a game going on some of the other CAx servers, show your interest in them and I bet your interest will help that server gain recognition and possibly even push the owner/admin to upgrade the server.

I see way to many servers and to few players these days. It makes little sense to me when people crowd around one spot even though there's legit cases of abuse going on.

All the other CAx servers have DM3 somewhere on them, this option was recent;y added to Dredd dew to the un-dying love most CAx players hold for that specific map on DM3, so it was made possible.

I'd like to know what makes the remaining players of CAx flock to Speaknow, just ping? I'd rather play a fun match with higher ping then play on a server that makes me feel I'll get banned for playing the game how I want (as long as its within reasonable limits).

Also I'd like to see a list of bannable offense that Speaknow might have. Maybe if it was clearly posted what players can & cannot do will help reduce such threads as this and influence people to make the right decisions when on Speaknow.

I do think there are some admins who need to be put in check however.

There was a point in time where Dreadful gave me the opportunity to help pay for Speaknow, or I propositioned him with splitting the bill, but once I saw the admin line up I decided against it and didn't even think of asking for admin, since one of the admins has issues with me, and I did with him also. Simple because I foresaw how Speaknow's admins will act and I didn't want to be looked at as a Speaknow admin. Though I like to feel I know how to be an admin without the mouth/attitude/power hungry urges etc... Not that every admin is like that.

All in all, you only make a fool of yourself when you get treated unfairly and return knowing you will be unjustifiably treated again and again.

You have to be the change you want to see in Quake.

Anyway, heres where I pitch Dredd

Dredd is admin'd by people I feel know what an admin is. the roster is (right now) myself and Badaim. Frenzy, Baker, R00k and Bam are admins as well. while R00k and Bam are pretty much exempt from being taken off the admin list I do not hesitate to pull plugs on admins who step out of line,that's my power trip i suppose you could say.

Dredd was created with such a design to keep assholes out and keep fun in. Nobody will get banned for shit talking, even to an admin unless it becomes an immediate problem to any other players.

Wolverine has not had near enough proof to be banned, Kimp has, why is it so hard to tell the difference between a botter and someone who possibly has a 9000 DPI mouse and can shoot flees off a Shambler at maximum range?

I've seen and used many bots in my time (Since Aug17th 1996) and its obvious when someone is botting/toggling and when someone isn't. Having good game shouldn't arise suspicion on botting. Seeing a newcomer join a server and destroy everything with LG, that is SUSPICION, not bannable, admins only make them selfs look like un-worthy jackasses when they kick/ban for petty things. Take off the admin badge and play the game for fun instead of joining the server with the mentality of "Its my soul duty to eliminate any suspicion ASAP.

ADMINS PLEASE BRING TO THE TABLE LEGIT DEMOS BEFORE YOU TAKE ACTION. OR AT LEAST HAVE LEGIT PROOF TO EXPLAIN WHY YOU TOOK ACTION.

Agree'd. I'm currently banned from Rage and Speak. I'd play at Dredd or Fquick but people usually are at Speak and it's near impossible for me to tell anyone to come to either of the other two servers as I can't just go there and tell them to.

Sunshine, I do belive that you do have a ego with your admin ability. You were talking shit to me.. So what did i do? i started right back in on you. And all your shit talk back fired.(i have screenshot's if anyone would like to see) The very next word's after i finished what i said.. you were like "you'd better watch who you're talking to". If you can't receive, then why dish it out?
