I built this computer three years ago with an Antec P160 case, Neo HE power supply and an AMD Athlon 3200+ on an Nforce-based mainboard - I forget the exact board, but it wasn't the most expensive. Last year I added the Nvidia 8500GT card and an Opteron CPU. Still on Windows XP, but I don't think that will last... figuring on 64-bit Linux for all future boxen. Thinking about upgrading in the spring actually.

I got a bad ass setup that foq is jealous of. it usually cruises at 2.4 but can bump up to warp speed of 3.7 ghz. Dont mention this to foq, he gets upset.

Got rid of 4 of those damn hd's, probably saving an arm & a leg on power now. Running Windows 7 RTM x64 - seems pretty decent so far (had to run QRack in compatability mode..)

Gateway Laptop: 2.2 ghz Core 2 duo, 3 gig Ram, utterly crap intel x1300 graphics card. Can't do dynamic lighting with it.
