I don't always have to, de facto Shok expressed interest as to why I didn't illustrate my post to Dr. Evil.

As a courtesy to him, I found a youtube clip of a percolator to accentuate the vision.

The picture? Well, like all my pictures, it is my medium of communication... whereas text alone doesn't always capture what I am trying to articulate... plus, I thought it to be pretty dam funny.

              which was referencing this post:

              http://quakeone.com/forums/quake-tal...-aim-list.html

as well as a few other posts that have been removed (started by kimp's dupe accounts).
Please accept my apology. I now see your name is Solecord. I had erroneously read it as Solecard. I will use Solecord in the future. Thank you for letting me know.

Just to check my understanding, you're justifying allowing Kimp to return to the forums solely on the basis that "after much deliberation and the recent actions of members it seems that people have forgiven him for the past actions," offering the following link as support:

              http://quakeone.com/forums/quake-tal...-aim-list.html

After reviewing that thread in which Kimp asks everyone for their AIM user name, here is what I found:

              Total number of posts: 23
Total number of posts excluding Kimp: 21
Number of people who initially gave Kimp an AIM user name: 5
Number of people who claimed giving Kimp their AIM user name by mistake: 2
Number of people who stated no objection to having given their AIM user name to Kimp: 3 (Souless, Master Splinter, Advanced)
Number of people posting at least one opposition to Kimp: 8
Number of people posting at least one support for Kimp: 1 (Master Splinter)
Number of people responding in the affirmative in response to your question about allowing Kimp back: 1 (Master Splinter)

Summary: Of the 21 non-Kimp posts, only 3 people appear to have meant to give Kimp their AIM, one of which was Master Splinter. StatiC stated that it appears people who gave their AIM user name were responding to Baidaim, and Glitch_ stated that he didn't notice Kimp's name in the request. There were 8 people who posted one or more responses that were direct statements of opposition to Kimp's presence. Whereas there was only one person, Master Splinter, who posted one or more responses in direct support for Kimp's presence. Ultimately, only Master Splinter responded with a statement in the affirmative for your question about whether Kimp should be allowed back onto the forums.

So, how, specifically, does it seem that people have forgiven Kimp for his past actions?

Good Point, I vote re-ban. I haven't and I honestly don't think anyone has "forgiven" kimp for his past actions. Also if kimp's re-banned, it just causes more work for solecord to delete his various accounts he makes on the daily because kimp doesn't listen. How many accounts do you think kimp has made? also even before his ban solecord?

What's funny is after unbanning kimp, he has posted less on the forums than when he was banned.

                    Demi, you missed:

Yes, that's right because I don't know yet how to include unavailable information. The fact that I haven't learned about it means that I have no way to interpret its meaning, relevance, or value yet. When will that information become available?

In the meantime, I remain curious to discover how, specifically, does it seem people have forgiven Kimp for his past actions?

well as true as all these quotes are, we have to merit people by our own standards and on a personal level. So just take everything that happened in the past as face value and as what it was then... and try to give a renewal of initial judgement when moving on with things.

I know you want people to get along and trust each other, and the real issue here is not how much to trust Kimp but how to fairly handle his ongoing unacceptable behaviour.

It is said, "nature abhors a vacuum." Kimp's and Master Splinter's conspicuous dysfunctionality has somehow managed to occupy the vacuous heads of several people here all the way to the point where it has rendered them mentally paralyzed. This is what's truly pathetic. I hope they come to their senses soon.
