You can add a person to your ignore list in your profile. That way every message they post will have the content concealed unless you choose to display it.

Perhaps a lot of the hate posts could have been skipped much much earlier if people spent less time bumping their gums and more time clicking ignore and focusing on the community they're helping to build.... quakeone.com Quake Resurrection. The ignore button has always been there, who's fault is it for not seeking it?

These type of posts bashing whoever it is that the small tightly knit group of haters decides to hate on and scream "BAN THEM NOW! THATS AN ORDER!" are really taking its toll on this site and thats not even half the BS I've experienced throughout my whole Quake 1 life

I've been around Quake since Quake first came out like some other members here, been from CTF to DM to Shrak(SP) and beyond, theres always been your average punks runnin about with a hot mouth and connections to get leverage over people to help them feel superior and ruin other's Quake experience, its expected but should not be tolerated. Its basically the ideal majority of Quaker's mentality these days (speaking CA and DM players) that pushes player away, new and old.

Everything is stagnant these days, DM'ers play DM3, CA players play DM3, RuneQuakers play RQ, very little changes and its causing cabin fever within the community. Most anyone whos played for any length of time has a specific way they like to play, which is fine of course.

I believe once we stop hating and debating on who, what, when, where and how people talk, play, interact and focus more on ourselves we'll start to see the real flaws in this community. Until then the punks will be punks.

That type of mentality has been around for a long time, don't you recall the rather extensive hate-fest on various q1 server administrators? People can't help it if they troll for targets, its in their nature.. On a more personal note, splinter , your not doing a good deed by defending kimp. He made his own bed,now he can lay it. And maybe I should feel sorry for him that he rode the "short school bus" when he was a kid. But I don't.

I hope the authorities can lock him up in whatever mental health facility they deem appropriate. His thread topics are so obvious.

If one of these gayfest threads survives long enough to be seen, don't expect any replies to survive. I'm gonna toss them in the trash with the rest of these junk threads he starts (POP as elite? Couldn't Kimp be banned from connecting to servers using the quakeone.com domain? I mean of course he'd still be able to connect using the server IP but in this situation I'd recommend flushing twice.

I was banning entire blocks of his ISP's IP addresses. He kept getting whole new sets of IPs. Then he finally started using proxys.
