We were having a TG a few minutes ago and because "Lazaris [tusa]" thought kimp was cheating he started loc'ing his position. Not only is this distracting to the people he thinks he's helping but it also is quite lame. When we asked him to stop or be banned he replied "It's ok I don't play this mod" What a troll.

I showed up at CRMOD last night,and a 3v3 was going on with Kimp in-game. I should have fn banned him and left, but I'm pretty sure I know what would have happened. I would send half the DM'rs into a frantic "Lynch Mindz" and promote more childish behaviour from the Quaker's who just don't fn get it. People in that list are some of the more prominent players as well,and the people who know its bs sit by idle for the most part like a bunch of newb's.

I've been letting Kimp play because it was Christmas.

He has been responding to direct questions and acting more appropriate.

It is still obvious he's using his quad/pent timer client though.

Regardless, now that Christmas is past, I will likely not be so lenient. He's fooled us several times before with spurts of good behavior only to make all of us (mostly quake 1 mods/admins) like fools.

I will reiterate, regardless of who is playing you don't start loc'ing in a DM Team Game. It's just the worst kind of poor sportsmanship.

P.S. If Kimp is cheating and most people still tend to beat him then it just makes his cheats laughable.

I've seen Kimp cheat first hand. 70% LG eff, shooting immediately after i leave cover, air lg. Kimp deserves everything that's happened and will hopefully happened to him. I hold no remorse for Kimp.

While spamming someone's LOC is somewhat cheap and inconsistent with a DM's take on honorable gameplay. I would have done the same thing because Kimp doesn't play. He annoys, cheats, breaks laws and laughs at everyone while he does it.

To me personally I think this should be over-looked and brushed under the rug. There's plenty of Kimp-material on the forums and plenty of posts with whining and complaining.

I don't know the guy, but I can see why he might dislike certain members of the community, and why he might justify his actions.

I understood your post, and it sounded like someone giving kimp a dose of his own medicine. I personally dont know this TUSA character, but I like him/her even more already.

Actually, the correct response was , Kimp should have not been there in the first place.Hating kimp isn't an easy task, it took over a year and counting for the kimp situation to reach a boiling point. It's only logical to think that with all the pressure building up (awaiting a FIX...),something will give soon.


I personally have come to realize the Quake I knew and love is currently a warzone, and now apparently there is a line in the sand.


CRMOD,whether any of you know it,is now reaping what it has sown. CRMOD was a "asylum" for kimp for a very long time, and continue's to this day (obvious,you FN newbs continuously persist in letting kimp play,just because you serve YOURSELVES and NO ONE ELSE)

So,now that a horde of self-servers have fueled kimp's desire to "belong", the rest of us who have constantly been swinging a hammer kimp and staying on top of the situation, and have banned his FN ass at every turn,have wasted some of our time,and now people are being misinformed.
