even tough I already made my own thread on it, I might as well introduce myself here.

What up, I go by the User name HiroHamada, and I am in my teen years. I was introduced into Quake by the Doctor Who mod, and I am pretty much a quake , all I can do is change sounds, and very few things. I am a big-time ZDooM modder, as well, I also like the game 'Carmageddon'. Music I like are Gorillaz, Queen, and The Prodigy. Considering my Username, you can already guess what my favorite movie is, and who my favorite character is (If you have seen the movie). I am also a classic-Whovian.

I am currently trying to insert a giant crab, Darth vader, and a Special weapons dalek in Quake 1. Read one of my other threads about the crab.

I'm a guy in my mid 20's from Finland. I just recently got to play Quake with Quakespasm, and had a blast. The gameplay, level design, soundtrack, everything's so great. Can't wait to play custom single player maps you fine folks have crafted!

I've played computer- and FPS games since I was five or six (the likes of shareware versions of Doom and Blake Stone). Generally I've just gotten worse but that shouldn't slow one down. And now I play Halo and some single player RPG's. Add me on steam (Lateksi) or hang out on #qwrookie channel if you want to play Quakeworld, Reflex or the upcoming Overwatch with me.

Hello fellow Quakers!

I am GrimLok. I have played Quake for many years starting in 1998. I was first introduced in 1996 to Quake from a game magazine article that he showed me, but it wasn't until 1998 that I myself started playing. It was at my High School, in Tech Ed class where some folks installed the Shareware/Demo version on a bunch of computers. I saw that they were playing and decided I would give it a go. I first started using the default controls without the mouse and did marginally well. Once I discovered the mouse for looking and the WASD set up though, I became unstoppable, and it wasn't long after that I started using mods and what-not to enjoy my game play even more.

I didn't do much online play being that all I had was 56k dial-up, but here and there I would start games and play with friends locally.

One of my favorite mods was the Transformers Quake mod, which I cannot seem to find anywhere. It had a bunch of Transformers themed skins and Reaper bot built in where you could fight Reaperbots dressed as Transformers characters!

Anyways, nice to meet you all, and I hope to be a part of this.

I forgot to introduce myself. I am grzybiarz. Most of you propably dont know how to pronouce my nick. Worry not and just follow these easy steps:

-Paste it to Polish Google translate
-listen the pronouciation

Now when you know what is my nick, i can tell you that my last name is even more funny. But i wont tell you how it sounds because i dont want to .

I like shooters. I can easly tell its my favourite genre of games. My first shooter was doom, and i played the shareware version when i was 5 on my half broken computer . Today i am 17 and still love doom. I also like other id software doom clones, such as wolfenstein 3d. At this time, im really exited about Quake. I like it because of its abstract castles, and enemies. Shooting system is also great and im looking forward to buy mission packs. I hope i'll stay a while on this forum. It looks really polished, for a single game focused one. Oh, and i'd like to apoligize for any language mistakes i'll make. I am from Poland, and dont really use English that much. Hope you understand.

I am SpecialBomb. I only started getting social and fully interactive with the quake community until recently, and I'm pretty glad I am now. I am looking to be a mapper and modder (more of a mapper), and I am working on a deathmatch map pack right now, and a deathmatch mod. I hope I can do some cool stuff while I'm here!

Hi! I'm Oliver. I've played Quake only since around 2011 or so, but even then, it was quite different from anything I had played thus far. It played and looked uniquely and I haved, e yet to find a game like it again. I think that it is probably my favourite FPS out of all that I've played, followed by Half-Life and its mods and Doom II. I think Quake 2 and 3 are good games, Quake 3 being my favourite multiplayer-only FPS, but they just aren't Quake, you know?
