Wolv won't RA; Krix calls me names

I saw Wolv on Rage. I connected asking him if he'd be willing to play RA with me. He told me no. Krix proceeded to call me profanities (like the kind against black people). And both disconnected.

Funny, I was hoping to patch things up with Wolv. Wolv can easily beat me at Rocket Arena and I need to rehab since I haven't played in a while.

I was hoping Wolv would jump at the opportunity to kick my ass and that maybe we could "reconnect" and get things back on the right track.

Apparently, Wolv and seemingly Krix (who I've never done shit against) have deep grudges against me. Which is ironic, especially since despite our differences, until recently I considered Wolv someone respectable with a different point of view.

Short version: Wolv isn't man enough or Quake enough to patch up differences (and yet he uses an Arnold avatar). Krix, I don't WTF I ever did to you ---- seriously.

I've turned the other cheek with Wolv maybe 40 times and then he started harassing Ramp one day.

And Krix, I've never negatively interacted with you --- not once. And you call me the N word and disconnect with Wolv.

It's been the same horseshit every time. But I do want to hear from Krix. I've never attacked Krix, I've never argued with him or anything of the sort.

Wolv, we all know where you stand (loldongs, attacking various forum members that usually aren't me for some reason, although occasionally you do. I have respect for you since you allowed me to explain my actions in your forum [you could have banned me immediately, and yet you didn't -- you earned my respect for your decency --- something I always have in the back of my head] and I hope one day maybe we can re-establish mutual respect as both of us have shown the seeds of that in the past).

I want to know Krix's thoughts, should he choose to share them.

Which is no guarantee, but I've always respected manilness. And controversial opinions. And I've never banned anyone ever for arguing with me, I've never been like that. Some say, I'm always too soft, but it isn't like that. I think all of us have rights to express what WE care about.

Uh. I didn't even play, chiefmaster. I connected and asked Wolv if we would RA me.

I was there, I asked Wolv if he'd be willing to RA me [knowing he might not be willing to do so]. He said no. You called me names and you and Wolv left.

I'll find someone who can help me get rid of the accumulated rust. Apparently, Wolv harbors quite a bit of hate. And I get that.

I do understand you are caught in the middle. I never said there were easy answers. We all know this community is fucked up.

I know the impossible you've been placed in. I get that. Attacking me is the easy thing to do to fit in with Wolv. I can read between the lines. We all have what we must do, you and I aren't any different.

He stated, "Krix and I were on Rage playing Airshot. Baker joined. Asked us to play RA, I said no and we asked him to go observer so we could continue our 1 on 1 airshot. He wouldnt go obs so we left, since we couldnt play."

So, im kinda confused. Who is mad at whom?? This is starting to feel like highschool and this seems really pointless.

i connected to the ftp downloaded the console log cut and paste from when baker connected until they left. nothing altered no ones ip addy posted.
Im not picking sides, its just this thread should be in the venting area not Quake Central.

"wqpro.exe -condebug qconsole%d ". This will make a numerical consolelog named "qconsole##.log" the %d creates the number. Anytime the server restarts (not a map change), a new log is created and the numerical value increases. This is so if u have a server crash u can look in the logs.

Well, would you look at that. A classic case of mis-communication. Chris asks baker to go obs. Baker responds to wolv about not doing RA with him with "really, o c'mon". Chris thinks this is a response to him, and starts calling baker names (which is completely expected from chris). Then it devolves. Yay for stupidity!
