It is time for me to leave Quake.
I know that some people will be quite happy to see me leaving.
At least I can say good bye with a small amount of dignity left.

I would like to thank all the kind people in this forum who accompanied me along the way. It was always inspiring and fun at the same time.

And especially I want to Thank Spike.
A person who leaves no open question unanswered and who has in my opinion an unbelievable knowledge and is never tired to help the ones in need. Without people like Spike, our Quake would not be the way it is today.

Never forget: It is the engine devs, who make it all possible !
Without engine coders, we would have nothing. Think about it and you will understand.

Hello Baker,

Na, everything is good. As you know, I am no liar.
I wrote about this "new thread" in my post on the top of this very page.

I also described it in that thread itself, that it contains all the unreleased stuff I had on my harddisc.
It would be a pity if it would rot there, because a lot of work was put into that spider and the other things.

And yes, I will log in from time to time to see all the new amazing things, that this community brings up.
It still interests me of course. But I will be no longer actively developing things.
So unfortunately you will have to life with seeing my ugly face occasionally :p

Thank you all for your support and warm words.
And always remember: I am a Quake-addict, just like you all.
But sometimes things make it necessary to find an addiction aid (if that is possible at all�)

More "relations" you have and more conflicts will happen... People without conflicts have little or no relations.

I had for a while so many relations and when I been in conflict I was like wtf with me but after thinking about it... my ratio relations/conflicts was still extremly good.

I returned to playing Quake again. I forgot my password here and quakeone.com seems to take some time to send it to my mail, so sorry for new account.

Seven, I never even tried any of your stuff, but even I can remember you being everywhere here. So those thoughts about being forgotten are very likely false. It's not supposed to calm you down or something, I just think it's this way.
(The reason I don't use most of the visual mods is that I simply like Quake the way it is, his low res textures and shitty pallette. The only exception is debaser texture set, where e.g. Starkmon looks awesome.)
Also, in my real life, I'm supposed to be the drama queen, not you!.

But I think I understand your motives. Sometimes one has to be sincere with himself.

When mom got through cancer 5 years ago, I thought it will all be ok, since there were other issues, mainly concerning her brother's attitude in some money related issues, costing our family a lot. Shit like that.
Then for some specific reason me and my sister stopped communicating, it was bad and took few years. We're starting to get along again. Not sure if it's because she's expecting a baby with her BF or that now father is going through cancer as well and it doesn't look good at all. Fucking shit everywhere.
And our small family firm still deep in debts, but slightly better than last year. But I now must be quite careful so that father doesn't know that his son is gay on top of that.. fucking shit everywhere I look.
But it used to be all VERY different.

Your family is ok, treasure it, there will never be anything more important.
Forum, however you think it's important for you, is still just forum, it will never become more. Actaully, if it becomes more, it's quite bad.

We do? Haha, I have no idea but I had immaturity and personal problems in late teens and early 20s, so I'll take the blame for whatever I may have said.
But FWIW, I don't ever remember thinking anything other than "wow, dude puts in work for the community, props" about ya. So consider Mindzy acquitted
