I like the idea of a FFFFFFUUU-older where people can just blow off steam, discuss stuff that's polarizing, drink and fight and stab and yell and complain. We all gota do that sometimes, it should be allright to let some greif out of your system. If it helps to keep the rest of the board gentlemanly, encouraging and positive while still giving room to discuss hot-button subjects and off color behavior then yeah. Seems okay to me.

How so? If because of the "admin-kill" on Master Splinter the other night, that is completely separate from the forums. If you're talking about q1.com, I'd like to know how. Even if I do something that the entire community disagrees with, I will admit wrong in any given situation. Never have strayed from such things. Your participation lacks valid backup as there are multiple situations I have to deal with daily, however, this not being one of your responsibilities, I understand your quickness to drink the hater-Ade.

Master Splinter minds his own and games only in a good fashion. If we was handing out awards, sure he could qualify for ideal quaker. Very rarely speaks minus "Bloo Rulz!" type shit.

I've addressed your issue with the wife thing ages ago, if you are stuck in the past I'm sorry. I seem to recall catching you both on a server and giving my apologies, as well as apologizing before on the forums for the issue, I won't apologize again. I don't go on any power trips, period. And I listen to what the community wants as an admin, not what just two or three people want. I keep my personal issues with players completely seperate from my decisions on the forum or on the server.

I toy'd with Master Splinter a bit, as this was Kimp's "bestfriend", cry me enough tears to fill up the pool on DM3 (that's a playful pun at you, don't blow up!).

Start a riot over it if need be. I've dealt with this for years, as I've been an admin for years. Once in awhile somebody makes a HUGE deal over a LITTLE instance and then it blows up. I have reversed plenty of decisions, not because I made them on a personal basis, because I made them on what I expected to be good for the community. And if the majority of the community doesn't like it, then I made a wrong decision, right? Well expect a wrong decision once in awhile. But nothing that will hurt anybody. I'll never try to stop anybody from playing completely, it takes up too much energy and consumes a person.

Point is I don't go on power trips, I'm way past that point in my age. And the only thing I DO tie separate from forum to quake server is my language. As far as being an admin on the servers, I try to act as a "model citizen", because I am a representative of Quakeone.com just by being an admin here, but the language you may have to mind once in awhile. I'm in a world of death and horror, fragging and murdering, tearing throats open as I fly by people mid-air with a flag. Emotions get intense, you pointed this out in a recent thread about CTF. It's how Quake goes, and because I'm an admin doesn't mean I am perfect. But you won't catch me posting cheat links on the site (another playful pun at you don't blow up!)

Oh, and calling names has never been allowed, and I give 3 warnings before I initiate a 3 day temporary ban, which isn't permanent. And even so, if you're speaking of the situation with you, it got to 3 warnings, then a temporary ban of 3 days was set, which I only kept for 22 hours. I'm such a bad guy huh? By no means is the site ran on a Frenzy meter, sorry if I'm an active admin sir.
