The outspoken reside here!
Spam
by: Slick, 03-24-00
Alright, I'm doing this in editorial format today and not in a little news post as everyone is used to so I'm
fair to the other people who have written in their own editorials.
Lets get the facts. This issue will never die, it's impossible. For that matter, there isn't one game
out there that people don't play and complain about such and such a weapon -- Especially if more people play
it. Just go check the Counter-Strike Forums if you need any proof.
So, we've got a weapon capable of spam. (Mirv's). There isn't any stopping the people from doing it unless
you remove the weapon. But then you've got a bad class. So, change the weapon. Any TF Vet will agree
with me that the mirv's in TFC have a bigger punch and blast radius than in TF.
So, here's my statement: Bring the mirv count back up to four, and decrease the blast radius (testing would
need to be done to get the best percentile). It's smart, and it works.
