2001 - IXNAY

Hello, today Planetfortress
posted a nice article about TF2 and it's long
devolopmenttime called "Team
Fortress 2, Where are you?". It sumarizes the current
status of the TF2 development and answers a many questions
about that game. The article handels with the following topics:
"Development Cycle, Other Games Better?, Valve's Silence,
No Current Information, CS Impact, New Engine, Scope of the
Game, & Release Date?" read
it here...
The Platoon
and the Armed Forces
pages are down, more dead TF2 MODs?
Here's
a funny article for you about what will happen 2002, happy
new year :-)

23th December
2001 - IXNAY

I have to say sorry again for not
updating last week but if there are no news I can't updated
and I don't want to report about none TF2 stuff all the time.
This week I have a real model for you as little
christmaspresent. No calm down it's no TF2 model it's
"just" an Half-Life model by the good old scarecrow,
one of the best HL modelers I know. It's an cool BG40K bolter,
grab it here...
I also have another genious weaponmodelpic by the Northern
Conflicts MOD. It's a very realistic looking AK5c,
they also got some things done at their
page. There is
also a new BG40K
MOD modelpic, a Bolterpistol.
Merry X-Mas :-)

9th December 2001 - IXNAY

At first I have to pronounce the Modelpic of the month
November, you see it at the right.
The BG40K
MOD once again updated it's site with cool new models,
check them out...
Now I have one good and one bad news for you, I start with the
bad one: The Hardline
changed it's engine to the Tribes 2 one. The good news is that
The Great Invasion MOD is not dead, they'll keep on
working after school.
|

Shade's AK5
is the Modelpic of the month Nov.

2nd December
2001 - IXNAY

Sorry for not updating last week but
there were absolutely none TF2 news.
As you have read in the news by out host Planetfortress
a TF2 developer (Doug Lombardi) has announced that TF2 is at full
development and that valve
will release "new information on the project in the
coming month".
That are fine news, the TF2 community has waited so long for
words like that, now all the TF2 fans and MOD-makers know that
"TF2 is not dead".
The Northern
Conflicts homepage has been updated wite with a brilliant
model...
The BG40K MOD
have another pagedesign
and two new
modelspics here...
|
18th November
2001 - IXNAY

Hello dudes, finally the Northern
Conflicts homepage is up, and they have a fine design. I hope
you remember the great model-pics of that nodric warfare MOD.
Go to their homepage now: http://www.game-mods.org/~northern
They still search some talented skinners and coders, use
the chance to join.
The Battle
Grounds 40K
HL/TF2 MOD updated it's Ork Axe once again. It's getting
better and better, so go to the Modelpic-Archive and
check it
out.
Space to introduce a nice graphiks site. It's called Romka any
they have some nice 3D Models and other interesting stuff,

4th November
2001 - IXNAY

Hi everybody, a new week with more TF2
news and more sad news. It seems that the Special
Forces MOD is dead too, anyway the homepage closed...
The Hardline MOD
closed their homepage and they announced that they will slow
down their development because TF2 isn't out yet.
Unfortunately they already search for a new engine. They also
said that game design, characters, story, objectives, models,
etc. will change for more professionality.
It's a new month so there is a new Modelpic
of the month, Shade
from Northern
Conflicts MOD won again. Another brilliant
model of a Glock 17.

28th October
2001 - IXNAY

Hello gang, sorry
but the last weeks news were a bit confusing maybe. I just
want to clarify that the Brithis
Commando Forces MOD changed it's engine to the lighthouse
engine. Last week you could have understood that they have
moved to the Serious
Sam engine too, like
the Lost Species MOD
(website).
Now, let's come to the real news: The Unnamed Gangster MOD has
a coder and a name now, it will be called "Hoodlums".
Check their models...
That's it with the TF2 news this week, space to tell you
that I started trying arround with Photoshop. See some
of my pics at deviantART,
great designsite.
|
21th October 2001 - IXNAY

Hey Ho, I got many E-Mails this week. First I was informed
that the Lost Species
MOD will be continued in developing for Serious
Sam.
Then I got a mail reffering to a forum
post. It says that the BCF
MOD changed its engine.
Got an exclusive pic by the Northern
Conflict MOD, they still have some Hostproblems.
The
Ganster MOD Page got updated with some new
pics. They still search modeler...

Another fantastic model by Shade
(Northern Conflitcts)

14th October
2001 - IXNAY

Hi, the Battle
Grounds 40K HL/TF2 MOD got a new homepageadress: http://www.bg40k.com
and they updated it's homepagedesign. They also have some new
multimediafiles to show, a video of the reskinned
Ork Warboss Face, a picture of the updated
Ork Stikk Bomb and a
new wallpaper wich you can grab at their homepage. They
still search some good Modeler.
No other TF2 MOD has updated it's homepage. Well many TF2 MODs
haven't updated their homepage since a long time and one by
one of these homepages get closed, like the Lost
Species TF2 MOD this week :(
|
7th October
2001 - IXNAY

Hello everybody, I'm back from my
holidaytrip to Italy and it was very relaxing. I'll upload
some pictures of it to my
personal Homepage in the next weeks.
Not that much concerning TF2 Modeling has happened the time I
was in Italy, I got a mail by vINcE
who strated a new TF2 MOD wich has no name yet. He still
searches a player modeler/animator. The MOD is gangster
inspired with tughs/mob guys. They already have some
weaponmodels, see them here...
There is a new Modelpic of the month, ~A.u.s.t.i.n
won with his great quality.
I saw a new
Hardline characterconcept over at www.TF2-Fr.net,
see it here...
|
23th September 2001 - IXNAY

Hey Guys, this week I have a cool character
concept exclusive by
the Hardline MOD for you. Also there was a AK-47

Construct, the Hardline fanpage.
Caleman, the leader of the Northern
Conflicts MOD, mailed me and he said that the new designed
page will be up soon with a complete makeover, new concept and
story.
I will be in Italy next week, so no updates... :-(

16th September
2001 - IXNAY

Hello everybody, you all know that this
week something terrible had happened. The USA was attacked by
terrorists, hijacked planes crashed into the Pentagon and the
World Trade Center wich collapsed with thousands of deaths.
The world is mourning, and here in germany where I live
everybody is really shocked too. I made a wallpaper of the
tragedy, see it here...
Well live has to go on, so there are some new TF2
Modelpics in the Modelpic-Archive.
Some cool ones of a new Playermodel by Battle
Grounds 40K HL/TF2 MOD. Further, there are new pictures by
~A.u.s.t.i.n. Good bye, I
hope so.
|
9th September
2001 - IXNAY

First of all, I have to say "sorry"
for not updating last week, but my internet- connection was
down, that was not very professional. Well there hasn't
happened that much concerning TF2 modeling, only The
Hardline MOD has updated their
Homepage with a new design and a
new character concept, also TF2-Fr.net interviewed
them... (check the Existence
if you like The Hardline).
MGS2 is no more a TF2 MOD
and the Northern
Conflicts page is down too :-(.
I have updated the sitedesing a bit and we have a new modelpic
of the month.
Next week HL 1.0.0.8 will be released, I think. So read two
interviews: 1
& 2
|
26th August 2001 - IXNAY

No new Modelpics
this week, and no TF2 MOD has updated their homepage :-(
But there has been a
post in the forums telling us about rumors that Valve
waits till Tribes2 is established before launching TF2.
I kicked our webspy Hardcore
out of the TF2M team, because he wasn't doing any work.
I updated my personal
german Homepage with pictures
of my francetrip (770 KB), C YA

The Great

I have also a new
interview done by www.csmerkezi.com for you with Mete
Ciragan, he's the producer of Milksahpe

29th July
2001 - IXNAY

Hi, our host Planetfortress
has relaunched it's site with a new design (the standard GSI
layout). Planetfortress
is the ultiamte resource for all Team Fortress games ever, for
four years now, starting with Quake's
Team Fortress.
I changed the textticker in the statusbar, I hope navigating
is more easy now.
There is a new Team Fortress 2 MOD, InvIsIblE
dAngEr. In this MOD you are a assassin, hired by a
large software company, who has to eliminate people, so it's a
singleplayer modification, check out their first three models here...
I also have new modelpics
of the old models by the Battle
Grounds 40K MOD. |
22th July
2001 - IXNAY

Hello dudes and dudettes, this week I
have found a new Team Fortress 2 MOD in the net. It's name is Platoon.
Yes you are right, it's a vietnam war MOD. You maybe also know
the movie
"Platoon" with Sgt. Elias, the MOD will be based
on this movie and it will include singelplayer, multiplayer
and cooperative multiplayer. Sound's pretty interesting for me,
check their models here...
I also have a new modelpics by my friend ThalakoS
and The Hardline MOD.
Can't wait for the new Half-Life patch 1.1.0.8 with this voicestuff,
maybe they bring it out to test it for TF2, but this is just
speculation by me. CU next week.
|
15th July 2001 - IXNAY

Hardline MOD and many by the Battle Grounds 40K MOD,
you see their Killer
Kan

Northern
Conflicts is a MOD about a conflict in europe and they
have a great pic of a soldier
and of a PSG90
sniperrifle. The other MOD is called The
Great Invasion and they have some nice unskinned

I talked to other MOD-leaders wich think about changing
the engine too :-(.
I have put some new pics of the Armed
Forces MOD in the Modelpic-Archive.
The Hardline MOD

Construct.
TF2

he will correct my bad english :-).
|
1st July
2001 - IXNAY

Another sunday and another sad news, the
Kommandos MOD have
decided to make their MOD for the Quake
3 engine. It's really disappointing that so many TF2 MODs
terminate developping just because TF2 takes sooo long to come
out. Valve should hurry because the TF2 community is getting
angrily :-(.
Well Valve will bring out this voice
communication for Half-Life soon, wich will be in TF2 too.
I found an Half-Life site with only french tutorials, check
it here...
Now to the REAL TF2 Models-News, well I have got new
modelpics by The
Hardline and The
Rock MOD, also there is a new
Modelpic of the month...
|
24th June 2001 - IXNAY

Bonjour mes amis, I'm back from my trip to france, it was
really great, but I'm tired today.
Well I try to write some news I found in one hour after my
arrival. The first thing I want to announce is that
chumbalumsoft has updated their MS3D
tutorialsection where you can find sites with Milkshape
3D Tutorials, TF2M
too.
Hey Somebody posted a TF2 releasedate in the forums, is it fun
or not??? Check

Hello, first I have to tell you some sad
things, first AWS our teammember lost his internetaccount, so
he quit and I search a new guy wich searches the web for new
TF2 modeling stuff, so if you are interested contact me!!!
The other sad thing is that there will be no news for the next
two or one sundays, you'll see. I can't write the news because
I am doing a trip to france.
Well, it's a new month and I have a new preview of the month
for you, so check the Modelpic
section, the cool Desert
Eagle from The Rock
TF2 MOD won.
As usual, i got new modelpics,
this week by The
Hardline and Armed
Forces.

Hi guys and chicks, as last week TF2

Rock MOD modelpictures. They have
some new skinned rifles on their homepage.
The Construct
has posted some new modelpics of The
Hardline MOD, you can see them
direct in the Modelpic
section and then to the Modelpic-Archive.
I got a new tutorial by FoxTrot-Niner,
wich explains easily how to import
Half-Life cstrikemodels into Milkshape
3D and than into 3D
Studio Max (version X).
Well no Team Fortress 2 at this years E3, I think it's really
frustrading that Valve does nothing for the TF-fans which wait
for TF2 for about two years now.
|
19th May 2001 - IXNAY

Hey Rockers, I have rocking news for you this week. The
Rock singleplayer and cooperative MOD, which was being produced for Half-Life has decided to
change to the TF2 engine.
So go to the Modelpic
section and then to the Modelpic-Archive
to check all their cool models, they really rock the planet :-).
While I was looking trough The
Hardline MOD-
forums, I found some old
Matrix modelpics...

The other MOD I have new pics of, is the Matrix

name to The
Hardline MOD but it is still a MOD about the Matrix movie. They
have also moved their development to the underground, so they will model

What's uuup, oh s*** I do
the news. Uhm, I have many new pics for you this week, most
pictures I got from Skapone who mailed me, he's the leader of The

at the update columm. There are also new pics from Armed
Forces, Kommandos
and TA.
I Have found some info about the polycount of TF2
Models, but it's not
very actual (from E3 1999). There playermodels for TF2 should
have 3000 polys and weapons should have 1000, maybe this
changed completely!? Read it... |
11th Febuary 2001 - IXNAY

Hello guys, it's nice that you skip church just to read the

Hello, I've an very nice model-pic of TA MOD
done by Sweijenberg. The model is of a beretta that i think
look's good but apparently it's not finished yet, but if the
finished one is better than this one why not!? In the MOD
there will be no dual beretta's! Has anybody any idea's as to
why this
site has become so slow, maybe it's because of the
Gamespy add-banner I had to put in!? If you know why please
mail me... |

A Beretta of the TA MOD,
not dual in game!
