Unreal Fortress | Gametypes

Unreal Fortress comes with five different gametypes. Three of them have to do with flag. You can usually recognize the gametype by the map name, but that isn't standarised yet. Here is a small table.

Capture the Flag
This is the 'standard' gametype in Unreal Fortress. Steal the flag from the enemy's base and bring it back to yours. The enemy ofcourse, has to try the same. This is the most common and most played gametype. It was first featured in Unreal Fortress.

Command Point
Instead of getting flags to your base, you have to bring them away. You start with four flags, and you have to bring them to four commandpoints, around the map. When you bring a flag to one of the commandpoints, you score a point. When you score all four of them, all flags return to their base, and the fight starts over again.

One Flag
There is only one flag. But there are two capture points! Dilemma! The goal is to grab the flag, and score it in the enemy's base. But if you drop it underway, it's their turn to run back to your base with the flag as fast as they can.

Assault
At the moment I write this, beta 2 wasn't available, nore were any Assault maps. So I can't give you much info on this gametype, besides that it will be much like normal Assault in regular Unreal Tournament.

Escort
The same as above, but I think it will be the same as Hunted in TFC.
