ya that would be a good idea. I still can't reproduce that hall of mirrors effect with skyscroll 1, on any map. It looks like the same effect as r_wateralpha 0.5 with r_novis 0. But comparing the code from 1.8 to 1.84 Theres nothing changed in there...! So, im stumped why this happens. Unless there is something else I'm missing...

the scrolling skies were very nice, but this has become such a problem..its time we put it to rest. a moment of silence to remember the nice days of sky gazing on Qrack.

Nah, I still really like skyscroll... ROOK, what are all the commands that might affect the skybox? I will play with them all, to see what I might possibly have set differently than you. I added support for that in that beta version, whereas it would look for "texname"_solid and "texname"_alpha, but for some reason this game you the HALL OF MIRRORS effect with skyscroll. So, in the meantime im just backtracking through and trying to find why the two textures sets conflict.

Hey, sorry to bug you, Rook, but I was just wondering if you're planning to add an option for transparent lava. It would need to work in DM, too, because technically FvF quest/coop mode is DM mode (to disallow cheating).
Anyhow, qrack is awesome. It's about all I use anymore, and I like checking out all the new fx you add every so often. It keeps things fresh.

I agree 100% with ya. No other creators out there take as many requests as Rook. how come when I play single player and load where I last was..it keeps saying sv_startsound or something and everything is all glitchy?
