    About your command line ...

-zone 1024 is the default in 3.95; you don't need that
-dinput can be turned on or off in advanced settings; don't need that
-mem 32 is the default in 3.95
-nojoy is the DEFAULT in 3.95; to use a joystick you must add -joy
-noipx is the DEFAULT in 3.95; to use IPX, you must add -ipx to the command line and travel back in a time machine to the 1990's to find a lan that uses ipx.
-nocdaudio is the DEFAULT in 3.95; to use cdaudio you add -cdaudio to the command line.

So your new command line is ...

    glpro.exe

Try using the -gamma command line parameter.
yeah that worked.. no more fps drop.. i guess its the dynamic lighting (quad/pent glow) then that's giving the GFX-card a hard time?

Very likely. I know the hardware gamma correction was a lot of work to add in. I prefer the -gamma command line parameter, but a newbie will want the slider bar to work, so .... :d :d

Serve wheel? I didn't make any changes except specifying my window resolution in the command line and added -gamma, now I get this crazy message that spams my console!

Not sure what that is, but I've made it so it will no longer spam your console in 3.97.

            Time to clean mouse?

            Download: ProQuake 3.97 - 0.8 MB

            Source code is available here

I wanted to put more in this, but maybe next time:

            1. Transparent HUD option; cl_sbar 1 = classic HUD, set to 0.5 for 50% transparent HUD and so on.

            2. Startdemos command now clears the start demos queue; you can add +startdemos to your command line and Quake starts without playing the demos and drops to console.

Yeah, I've never used that command line parameter. I hear others talk about it, but I've never tried it myself.

Numlock isn't a bindable key and any key that isn't bindable and isn't a system key is the equivalent of the PAUSE key because PAUSE has the highest keyboard scan code.

I guess I could make numlock bindable, but that seems silly to me.

Just reaching out on a limb, my programming knowledge isn't great or anything but could you set mouse buttons 1,2,3 maybe 4 to certain scan codes to resemble keys on the keyboard?

you can use your mouse-driver to do just that (for logitech mice, set the mouse-button to "keystroke" and specify which key in the submenu)

I'm experiencing a weird problem that I've had in the past specificly with GLPro and TYRQuake(Linux).

Sometimes when I do a rocket jump my weapon will not fire, I j ump but theres no shooting? for instance the2x RJ from outside to the elevator slant to the window, the first RJ usually goes fine, but once I attempt the second RJ theres no shooting?

Its when I made rocketjumps close to eachother in timing, I know this isn't just my imagination... Does anyone have a solution to this?

Sometimes when I fire it seems like my trigger gets stick because my weapon keeps firing rockets dispite if I'm holding shoot down?

its called packet loss I'm afraid.. not much you can do about it.

putting "wait" command in your binds/scrips (if any) might help..

try the MultyWait "trick" i suggested somewhere else to see if that makes any difference..

It happens on local maps also :/
