    Well then, I will fiddle with m_smooth and m_filter to see if anything can be done about it.

    It does happen on both my desktop PC and my laptop. Though with 1.90, it happens much less often on the laptop now.

    About the outline width:
    It's fine enough for me as it is now. I just imagine that with a wider outline, it will look more cartoonish.

      nice, you fixed the Malice drone bug and I see you added fmod.dll to the Qrack directory! the only thing I still notice that sorta bothers me is how the gun frames aren't fluent..but its nothing big! =]

        the second from last frame doesnt interpolate to the last. I should invert that, it should be the 1st frame to the second shouldn't interpolate because the gunkick can be fast enough not to worry about.

          A couple of ideas:

          1. Reorder the customize controls key binding screen in menu.c to mirror FuhQuake. The default order that Quake had is all wrong. Maybe also adding previous weapon to the menu (I noticed DarkPlaces has that added).

          2. Make it so the chase cam doesn't poke through walls ever. If I end up doing this first, I'll write up a little mini-tutorial.

          3. Automatically .dz compress demos at the end of recording. If I end up doing this first, I'll write up a little mini-tutorial. (It always amazes me how unwieldy and fat .dem files are).

          4. I need to play around with Qrack's map download, but at some point the method that Qrack and ProQuake 4 need to use the same method and organize some method for various people who run servers to have FTP to the depot. One thought is that since Qrack has dzip, maybe that utility should be used to provide the compression and wouldn't it be nice if the server depot had a PHP synchronize script that could take a directory of raw bsp files and automatically update a separate folder with dzipped .bsps and such if the contents of the directory changed (reducing the need for administration greatly). I'll need to see if .dzip can be made to work on a Mac.

            I was just wondering whether you had managed to include the Painkeep-like Bloodskins we dscussed in a previous thread? If so how do I activate them?:d

                Setting m_smooth, m_filter, and m_directinput all to 0 seems to solve the problem, though I am not sure changing which one of the three cvar makes it working. Probably m_directinput.

                    for Nehahra the best engine is still AguiRe's enhanced Nehahra.exe
                    Though other engines, such as darkplaces, or Joequake, can support playing, they often miss some features that add to the experience, such as music.

                          Qrack does support Nehahra. Just run it with the added command "-nehahra". The music works just fine, too. The only thing I'm waiting for is Warpspasm support.

                              You should be able to set your cfg down to the level of a geforce 4200 and still get 100fps. Even on this newer version, rendering should be faster with cards compatible with opengl 1.4 and greater. r_simpleitems helps in games like ctf and dm saving alot of fps too.
