    @seven, what skin are you using on the 'ribcage' and 'spine', are they the ones I compiled only it looks a little distorted? good find btw...

      ...its all in the readme.
      Textures for such a branching/complicated model with tons of edges and planes is nothing but easy to UVmap.
      It�s not my model. I would not be able to do such things.
      But the end result looks good.
      I sent you and Mr.Burns links for your projects by the way...

        thanks, calling it my project is a bit premature as I've never even played the aformentioned mod before but if somone gives me a screenie and a model/skin I can but do my best in what time I have, still thats a conversation for quite another thread!

          Hello osjclatchford,

          do you remember, as you released your reworked PrimEvil�s player skin ?
          OoPpEe spoke about making a skin, that is teamcolor-able:

          Hmmm I think I may at a later date do it. It's pretty simple to do. You CAN keep your current colors and then it adds the hue to it. However if you have green it will add the color to it.
          So if you chose the red shirt color it would become yellow/orange in color. So best choice is to make it highly desaturated (almost greyscale) or greyscale itself on each part you want to be team colored. From the skins I've used they use the (texturename)_shirt and (texturename)_pants and those are the same size BUT the differences:
          the main skin where the team colors are - you make them completely black (deleted from texture)
          Then on _shirt and _pants texture you do the opposite. Make only the pants available and rest black and then only shirt and rest black.

          These are working examples for what he meant:
          (Feel free to use them for your modification)

          Rename them to:
          - player.mdl_0.tga
          - player.mdl_0_pants.tga
          - player.mdl_0_shirt.tga

            Hi all..

            Sorry if this is not the place, but I have a question regarding the gibs.. xD

            I noticed that when you gib somebody (or something), the whole body is reduced to just some bones, an organ (heart I think) and the head..

            Is it possible to make a more "fleshy" gibbing? Lots of parts and blood flying on the air, that's for sure gonna be awesome..

              Are you talking about something like 10+ gibs flying out?
              It's possible with simple QC editing - however due to the limited gibs in Quake you'd see many duplicates. It is possible to add more in, then add them to the present 3 (+head).

                Exactly! Is it posible? I'd like to add more flesh models if there are, and doesn't matter if there are duplicates..

                  try using the original gib1.mdl, gib2.mdl and gib3.mdl from your id1 folder and slap my skins on them!

                        oh, yeah, just realised that my gib skin pack includes the models anyway, so its just a case of running that!

                        and yes, seven I had seen it but as I said before my interest in the player skin was not much, just a passing thing, hopefully it will help someone out there make some nice player-skins... thanks anyway...

                          There are more gibs, but seems that the monsters are anemic, a way for enabling more blood trails?

                            I just noticed that there's a good amount of blood already, but just on the head.. The rest are just dry gibs..

                                Hello daniocampo1992,

                                dont worry, your Quake will be even bloodier, when you set the correct flag to the custom gib models you use !
                                I see that you use the ones from Rygel�s pack.

                                They simply have no (not the correct) flag set.
                                Thats why they dont have the blood trail like the head-gib !

                                Use this TUT to set the flag "4" to them:
