      There isn't a typo in the effectinfo is there? It says // this is used for sould effect
      is the sould correct or should it just be soul?

        Hello gdiddy62,

        everything, that is behind this: "//" is ignored.
        The slashes are used for commenting something for example.

        So it doesnt matter if it is a typo (yes, it is one) or not.
        It is ignored by the engine/program.

            Sorry for the ignorance, but how do I get it working? there are two files on the qc source folder..

              Those are just the source files, they are to be used in with the source code of Quake. So to use them you need to get the Quake Source Code (not the engine source) and then add these qc files and also then edit the monsters code to call Seven's new functions.

                please excuse me, I should have explained clearer, that the Download contains the source, that can freely be used by all QC modders.
                I explained how to implement it ontop of the file "soul.qc" itself.

                For those of you, who are not so experienced with QC, I will release it in the upcoming �small mod compilation�.
                But not before the last animation is done.
                It will not take too long from now.

                  Sorry, I didnt see your edit. Of course I can share it.

                  I found it inside the QWRE pack (Quakeworld Reloaded).
                  It is a superb pack. You should download it and look at all the beauties.
                  Also the armor from the "Fully transparent HUD compilation" and all the powerups, that OoPpEe uses in his "Effect Enabled Powerups" are included.

                  For even more different model variations you MUST download "Maphfus�s option pack".
                  He included almost ALL existing models (weapons, powerups, ammo, armor, keys, ...) in it to choose from.

                  There is more than just Rygel�s pack out there my friend

                    Seven, where can one find Quakeworld Reloaded pack and Maphfus's option pack? I searched around on google and couldn't find them except in some fileshare sites I don't have access to , or some torrents from sources I don't trust.

                              Hello,

                              Dont worry about the russian subfolders.
                              They dont contain any useful/important information.

                              Simply look in each subfolder and you will see what content is inside.
                              You are all experienced enough to say from the file name itself, what it is.

                              Tip:
                              - Just use Noesis as your model viewer. It will open every format in no time.
                              - Use your favorite picture viewer to open the textures.
