      • Small update: I've recently found the power to correct a few annoying spots in the grunt skin, so we'll release it in the next wave, plus all the versions of enforcer in the Quoth mod (three).

          • Quake Reforged has been updated! Go and download the last new skins.

            @King Hazza: you have a point!
            Ok, I'll rush the dog skin to a decent status, because, you know, I hate it... 10% time spent drawing, 90% spent making corrections, while for the other skins it's the contrary
            We'll release the dog, the grunt and the corrected enforcer together, so base themed levels are fully playable.

            • Whoa Nergal! I'm impressed!
              I'd say that doggy is pretty much ready to go!
              (the only thing I'd change is make his eyes GREEN- much freakier and more natural- kinda like nocturnal animals)

              I'm serious the dog looks great- and I wouldn't worry too much about further detail as he IS a creature with DARK mottled shaggy hair, so you wouldn't expect to see much else- might look good if he shone like the knights do (only duller)- it would perfect the illusion!

              • I wonder why don't you update the status through Twitter? The only way to see the updates on the site is either manually check the site, or when the new shots are posted here.

                Regarding The Spawn. My opinion is that it's too bright. I believe that it has to be semi-transparent, as it is some slimy being, or am I wrong? On the shots it looks... unnatural, if such description is appropriate to such monster at all :-) Too colorful, too attention-appealing. As it has to lurk in the dark, I'd make its skin much darker and transparent.

                Well, maybe all this moaning is because I don't like Spawn at all. Seems like id's artist were completely out of inspiration and then created The Spawn. No teeth, no pawns, no dangerous mouth at all! I don't get this creature. I hate the sound of him splattering on the walls. I hate this bouncing thing! :-)

                          @chaser: You are right, Nergal please remove the pupils. The eyes have to be some kind of "dead" - zombie-like - like the original!

                            • A new update is on our site, visit it now. The grunt! The soldier Quake symbol, the first monster that our red-hot weapon, meets in Quake. Always present and ready to blow it up with a nice rocket in the ass, that's our Grunt!

                              • Wow this is awesome. I can't wait till you guys finish this up. I'm look forward to playing Quake all over again on Nightmare with Quake Reforged, this will probably make me jump out of my seat when I see how realistic the monsters are when you guys finish it. Keep up the good work.
