I don't have much to say except that until something changes, everything is going to be the same in the forums until concrete change happens for long enough it isn't a fluke.
I'm not the only administrator here, so I make no claim of how this will be handled with absolute certainty.
But in that letter or whatever you call it, you have someone offering ONLY the idea of change.
I have nothing personal against Kimp and in fact I kind of like him and have respect for some of the modding he has done.
But as everyone knows, my part of the administration of the forums has never been anything except objective and the idea of future change is not the same as actual pre-existing change.
This may be cynical, but I'd attribute this letter from Kimp as a pseudo-surrender because the efforts of Badaim and others to snuff his behavior have been very effective.
I might point out that in this letter he promises to reform only "if he is unbanned". Doesn't like someone going clean for the sake of going clean, but rather because no other options no longer exist.
