Should JohnRocker be perma banned from Rage?

I want to see a youtube vid of sting having a conversation with someone using the same speaking style he uses when he writes. I just don't believe he communicates that way in RL.

Oh, and I haven't seen any problems with JR on rage recently. He has a lot of talent and I think should be allowed to play.

haha magthe***.. i wasnt bitching about ur lower ping, i was bitching about my high ping. when i 1v1 i prefer to have ping im used too.. and its not owned when each match is 5-4 4-5 4-5. since the other matches we had i won every time in UV. like i said in the game "omg cant believe mag finally beat me" haha

Please attempt to utilize some type of logical sentence structure; doing so will allow me to correctly interpret what you are attempting to communicate.

If you understand what the logical fallacies mean, then you realize I point out how his argument hasn't been validated. It's that simple. If you need any further explanation, then you don't understand logical fallacies.

I validated my argument with truthful premises that justify a conclusion. He has not created a truthful counterargument for it, rather just fallaciously thrown irrelevancies out there, and made a false statement as to how the situation went down on rage 26002

My point is why not just use common speak? I can guarantee you that 99.9% of the people you meet in RL will not care about how many graduate logic courses you've taken and most of the drawn out "logical" arguments you've made here could be summarized in 1 easy to read sentence. I'm not trying to criticize your lifestyle choice of being a logician, I'd just like to be able to read one of your posts without falling asleep halfway through

That is the common language of logic. Common terms for both fallacies and for why an argument is valid or invalid. Nothing uncommon about that particular bit. If I sacrifice these terms and/or too much length, it can change the entire meaning of what I'm saying. Feel free to fall asleep if you wish. The fact that you're falling asleep to something that most intellects would consider interesting isn't a reflection upon me.

And the fact that 99% of people wouldn't care about logic is meaningless to the argument, and doesn't mean they're right. Arguments and logic are about right and wrong. Not about entertainment value.

You can try to change servers. People will show to the server that everyone agrees to and one thing leads to another where a few people won't like the new server because of their ping or it doesn't have the same feel, or better yet, nobody shows up to play on the selected server. To your surprise you see that everyone that agreed to go to the new server is back to the old one.

I really don't see a bright side to this. He's simply banned... banned for something that can be labeled as trivial. I mean it's not like he's running a bot. Just running his mouth. Heaven forbid.

Running his mouth when he was warned several times by vis not to. And it's his autonomous decision. I don't think punishing someone for what amounts to harassment is an indication of tyranny.

if every asshole got a ban from the Quake servers, there would be a very very thin population of players. shit, i'd be banned myself. pretty much everyone reading this would be too. we're all assholes to some degree at some point or another. dont bother denying that one.

I agree with him being banned because he neglected the fact that the man who runs the server and gets nothing out of it except the fact that he can relax and enjoy a few games when hes not busy.

If you talk shit to someone, you're labeled a shit talker. If you talk shit to Vis on Rage, your labled banned. Why can't people understand that? I had to figure it out the hard way.

Vis is not a bad guy but he is strict on what happens on the server he runs. If Vis says STFU you STFU If Vis says Rage is going down because he feels like it guess what happens next, Rage goes down.

John Rocker, to me has not done anything in the past few weeks to deserve a ban in my eyes, but I also haven't been around to much lately and it doesnt even matter what I say.

Its between John Rocker and himself now. Honestly, I'm glad to see his shittalkn ass finally got what he deserved especially after all the warnings. I've told him MANY times "I'm demo'ing your actions to try and get you banned." and I got called a "dumb ******" for it, thats dust on my shoulder I know who I am and I'm not goin to let some pantywaist ricecake change the way I feel especially over a game.

Maybe in time John Rocker will apologise to Vis and if Vis wants to he will unban him. Thats the bottom line. Its Vis's call.
