I have a brain teaser for you guys.

Find out how to suicide, starting with only the shotgun, on:

- e2m2 in ten seconds
- e2m3 in 20 seconds
- e4m3 in 14 seconds.

I have 25 demos now, and found a tool to chain them together (linux even.) The megademo will be around 6 minutes for all of id1 and perhaps the dm maps.

What are the possible suicides? Would be nice to have most of them in. I know of

- becoming bored with life (trying to put the pin back in)
- discharging into the water
- getting squished
- blowing up
- getting spiked
- falling to your death
- visiting the volcano god (turning into hot slag)

and theoretically,

- sleeping with the fishes (sucking it down.)

Any more?

I can get squished in E4M6 in about 12 seconds.

Technically, that's a good time. I can suicide slightly faster in e4m6, by (quad-) discharging into the water (11 seconds.) I'd like to see your demo but Joequake says "The required model file progs/dude.mdl could not be found." Tyrquake bombs. Any idea what's wrong?

I might be inclined to include that, since it looks like an alternate version and is almost the same time.

Demo making is fun, isn't it. :-)

Sniper, can you redo the Chthon one on skill 0? It will be much faster because you only have to zap him once.

DM maps would be nice, too. Remember in SP mode you'll always spawn in the same spot.

I did a relatively good spiked-in-e3m6 one (better than just hop into the lava IMO.)
