Doug caught aimbotting on speaknow. Discuss.

Myself, reverend-nfa, "." aka dot, and chrissy all caught Doug aimbotting on speaknow today under the alias of :-o

I always knew he walled but after the anticheat he couldn't do it anymore so he attempted to make a comeback by aimbotting. It didn't work so well. Just way, way, too obvious. I only got a little bit of footage, I think Chrissy recorded a demo as well.

Maybe in the near future [within a month], I'll add some more flexibility to ProQuake cheat-free.

Already planned: Cheat-free support for Qrack [and any other engine that wants to be included]. Combined with the anti-wallhack stuff, this would making botting virtually impossible.

However, until I can get Qrack to be able to connect, the effect of cheat-free is to really limit freedom of what ppl use to connect.

Another issue: Dreadful uses a Mac and there is no way [that can happen this year, for certain] for a Mac to be included in cheat-free. Stuff to think about.

(I don't know if LordHavoc would be interested, he's not very fond of the code ProQuake cheat-free uses).

That 1st few minutes looked quite fishy, comming out of RA to ring, his aim snapped. Though omi you should really use eyecam to demo aimbots, thats partly why i added it. Sadly, if he was aimbotting he seemed to have toggled it off after you called him out.

Everyone in the server knew. I know 80% of us have cheated at some point and it was just soooo obvious none of us realized to take thorough demos. It was just like "yeah. he's aimbotting. no doubt about it" consensus amongst 4 experienced players. It was just that obvious. Chrissy also recorded and Im waiting on her to post something maybe

Doug did always kind of seem good at points then completely crappy at other points, continuously fluctuating from the top of the scoreboard to almost dead last heh.

Its good someone finally caught him, it just means the security of Quake will be tightn'd up even more

ya i always wondered about Doug.. cuz on pub games i'd make a fucking mess of him, then i'd 1v1 him and he would make it a challenge.. nd it didnt make sense how he sucked so bad then would give me a run for my money.. good job on the proof omi.

I'm sure as Omi pointed out, there are players for some reason or another who will fall into the trap of pulling out their bots and slapping it around. But, to err is human, though he should be banned from that server (where was it?) until he admits and apologizes and spends time away. But as of yet do we have proof of his ip / ip-logged identity? Is this the correct offender, i didnt see the ip in the demo (status), so the ban would fall on the ip that omi provided. Is this fair?
Omi side note im not picking on you im just setting this up so people wont see an excuse to post demos and paste ip's, truthful or not.

All i did was kill you a few times, what's new, honestly I do this all the time and you accuse me of boting all the time also. For those of you who actually believe Omi from that horrible demo that he posted, open your eyes, there's nothing there that would even slightly indacate that i bot, AND I DON'T. Go to challenge-tv website and you can see another demo of omi getting owned and bitching and whining about me botting, as you can see, these accusations aren't anything new from Omi. Take a look at this demo since the one omi posted obviously doesn't show anything but me getting killed...which is something bots dont usually do.

This whole demo has me in first person view, and you can clearly see that i'm not botting, yet Omi thinks otherwise, take a look and you'll realize that Omi is just a shit disturber and nothing better to do then this shit. LOL It's pathetic.

Why don't you just admit it? Seriously just stop. There's no point arguing it, everyone knows you bot, anyone who reads this thread will see the demo and know. You're digging a hole.

If it's just me who has a problem with you, why did the 4 others in the server all agree that you were cheating? I wasn't even the first one to point it out. 4 other experienced players were equally vocal about how obvious your aimbotting was. 10 minutes later (cm) felony came in and said you logged on to the default port of a bot server and that you had been doing it for a while. Not even knowing that we caught you 10-15 minutes ago. He said he had caught you using aim assist many times. At this point, it's not just me. It's EVERYONE. Everyone knows you cheat. Get it through your thick skull.

You seem to not understand something. No matter what you say or how you try to discredit me, there is a demo on here that clearly shows you aimbotting. So attacking me wont change anything.

Was all the botting done before you started recording? Because I didn't see anything that would suggest a bot was being used.
