You cheat, not an accusation, a fact, captured in the demo. Fact and case closed.

Nice saying that I cheat, you are full of crap. You get caught and now you point the finger at everyone else but yourself. You are the cheater here. Fact and case closed.

We are not concerned how much you play Quake, why you play and when. That is irrelevant to this present discussion. You are a cheat and you are not permitted to connect to our community servers. We do not want you here. Period, not unless you change.

Stop begging to be unbanned, especially after you hold up lying about your cheating. If you would admit it, you would be most probably be allowed back quicker and given another chance.

You can not get around it, change your name and ip and if you get caught cheating again they will all be added to the ban file list.

Either way you twist and turn it you can not win against the community.

I strongly suggest you use your time off to educate yourself in succeeding in the world using honest ways. And also take some time off to improve your logic, thought processes, sentence structure and grammar as they are terrible. This reflects in your Quake play as well, cheating, fumbling and insecure boy.

Most importantly re-play Quake offline in the honest and proper manner. Start from scratch. Then humbly approach us again, cheat free in your heart and you may be given another chance.

That is the best advice I can give you. Being an asshole got you nowhere as you saw this far, therefore changing is your only chance. Seize this moment, take it now and start your life afresh.

I do not want to be harsh I am telling you for your own good and for the good of our community if you want to be a honest member of it. Otherwise you will not be accepted here, our server operators do not want cheaters into here. We may lose 1 player, but at the cost of saving many more that would quit because they can not play honest games. The tradeoffs are justifiable.

Change. We want you here as (a) honest player(s). We need them.

More 8 month bans must be given out for further cheating. 3rd strike, out permanently, perm-ban for life.

This could be solved Without a perma-ban.

Besides banning someone who cheats doesn't truly fix the problem. Its really easy to cheat at Quake. If you don't like cheaters, do something to stop them from cheating in the first place, make an anti-cheating client, do something constructive in stead of sitting on here bumping your gums saying how people who use an easy enough cheat should be handled. We should be focusing on how the cheat itself works and how to stop it, not the cheater.

Its time to start using our brains!

Something is definitely showing at 243:13 to 243:14 when the demoing player is riding . You can see aim directly at OC then shift away then back. I'm referring to the second demo. The first demo omicron posted as pure shit because every time he rode it was in third person view and I couldn't see where the fuck he was aiming. You can also see that knew exactly where to aim the first nail at 243:12 during the 0.5 second interval from when OC's mdl was actually viewable.

I really wish someone would have just observed the entire game so it wouldn't be so trivial to watch an entire demo of someone playing CA.

I'm not 100% satisfied with these two demos to call Doug a cheater because I would have liked to see 's view for the entire match. Not at certain intervals of the demo. Capturing 's view when he perfectly aimed the LG at two players and killed them would have been the money shot of the demo but sadly no one captured his view of that happening.

I'm going to go with the presumption of innocence here. Doug is innocent until proven guilty. Just let him slip up again and take a better demo of it silently. None of this third person view crap. And make sure you demo it all, not just whenever you're killed and forced into observer mode.

I was also questioning CAx's way of using eyecam. I had Quakeman record a demo of me firing in a circular motion in the water of dm3. He used eyecam on me in first person view. There are many instances of this but take a look at 238:41 to 238:44 in slow motion. My crosshair is far off from where my rocket was going when initially fired. It's not netquake lag either because my aim is circling in a counter clockwise motion and the rocket is aimed at a location my crosshair hasn't even touched yet. This proves that demoing in first person view will definitely show a difference between what the demoer sees and what the player sees. Just keep that in mind.

I'm only speaking from what I saw in the demos provided in this thread. I used slowmo 0.01, 0.1, and 0.5 in key spots to see if there was any "instant" aiming going on. I found no 100% evidence of that. Any accusations and demos made of Doug aimbotting in other occurrences were not taken into account. I did not watch the demo that Doug posted just recently.
