      Foqer- HOLY SHIT.
      Nice!
      (to be honest I didn't even know you could get in between his swings at all- and believe me I HAVE tried)!

      Although I still reckon fiends are harder in most situations- shamblers and vores are way slower so you sorta have time to react.
      Although I've found a supernailgun or lightning gun can kill one before it can get started, if you spot it soon enough.

      WarioN64- don't laugh! I've found grunts can get pretty tricky on some occasions.
      They actually stand out as being the only enemy besides the shambler that shoots something that hits instantly- although they can miss- not that a lot of them really DO miss. If you walk into a room and there are at least- well,- 10 or more, all at once, it can get vaguely rough.

      Radec- to be honest it's probably my main reason for rating the two big monsters down- save for large areas crawling with these two creatures, you often can just take whatever they throw at you and keep going. (having the two most accurate attacks in the game would have to keep them toned down in damage)
      However, as most of the game provides enough cover to handle most of the ones you encounter it mostly comes down to patience without any harm at all.

                      well done foq. but you gotta admit that fiend was mentally retarded.

                      like Hazza said, i'd like to see you axe a Shambler without getting hit

                      but maybe you could axe a Vore without getting hit, i'd really like to see that. And a Spawn. maybe a make a new thread with these videos or something.

                        Shamblers are easy enough, taking them out with the SG or SSG is relatively straightforward (I've taken out Quake II Tanks with the SG for laughs often enough too, but they're even easier as they're so slow and predictable). Fiends too so long as you keep your eyes open. If you're careless and they get you on a jump they can take you down to 0 with one attack. Ouch.

                        It has to be Spawns for me; there are rooms in E4 with 5 or 6 of the little bas-bas-bas-darlings in them, and unless you get enough grenades in there first you're toast. I'm thinking of The Pain Maze here.

                          i know what bit your talking about in pain maze. with 5000 spawns. but its piss easy if you send a bunch of grenades in the room before you go further.

                            Yeah but the slider thing pushes you forward. I RJ into the room before the bars and let the slider pass, then pick the spawns off like nothing ever happened

                                You know what, you don't even need to RJ to avoid the slider... just stand in between the bars so they hit you and retract back into the wall. This will lock the bars up for a few seconds, allowing you to activate the slider trap and casually walk back into the other room before the bars close.
