Nope. I've seen you RA at least twice. Your shaft was terrible both times. I've seen you end CA games with more than 30-40% on more than one occasion.

You don't rape me in CA. I wouldn't even care if you do, it's just fucking Quake. I play for fun, but it's not just fun when you can kill me in a few seconds with that shaft.

The difference is with the legit people.. maybe.. once in a while.. you will get those.. "that was weird".. and then you won't see it again for a long time..

some of the dudes popping out of the blue lately are getting called out multiple times by various players.. doesn't seem like a coincidence to me..

i agree, i was simply stating that your legit shaft is still brutal and no fun, which is what was italicized in wolv's quote. it gets to the point that dying from a legit shaft and a bogus one isn't much different sometimes. the only real differences are maybe a nano-second of longer life and of course the whole "he wasn't even looking at me and shafted me dead-on".

One thing to pay attention to is the inconsistency in the shaft. If you hit them with an RL, does their shaft waver from time to time away from you? Even the most skilled shafters will waver even a bit during a shaft fight. A bot may shaft 25% but the shaft never leaves your body regardless if you're hitting them or not.

Also another thing to pay attention to is instant snap shaft. Unless the guy heard you, if a guy snaps to your exact location as you pop out or you're walking behind him, that's a dead give away. I've only seen this from botters, never have I seen a legit player pull this off consistently.

This one is a bit harder to tell because all humans are inconsistent at some point but look for a drop off in skill. Good players will drop a few efficiency points, but they won't play or move differently like they were relying on something.

Togglers are known for this.

I hate to name names, but when Rambo toggled the difference between his bot and himself was night and day.

Instant snap shaft (180s), lock on around corners without knowing you're there, puppet shafting, and overall 25%-30%. Suddenly the next game or even the next round it is a completely different player.

I just wish we'd clean up the cheating a little bit in the game, there is nothing to gain because we're not playing for anything except fun.

any bot that snaps is a poorly coded bot period. Also any bot without prediction is poorly coded. Ive watched these demos with my client and cant really say he is botting, if it is a bot that only works for shaft then i want to know who wrote it cuz it sure as fuck wasn't me or baker or rook or havoc. Also rampages shaft is pretty much as close to a bot that a human player can be, so in my eyes if he can out shaft jewpage then chances are he is botting. In all 4 demos, there is no snapping at all nor do i see any sign of "Sticky" shaft.
