Maintaining the site infrastructure is the hard part, you support me and the other administrative help so everything is easy.
This means I can focus on end-goals rather than delving into the myriad of pitfalls of CMS administration and modification, and I know you have my back. And I think it is great that the community supports your experimentation with ads knowing that it is important for the site to generate some revenue and also serve at least in part of a playground for your professional experimentation.

When I said no one elses opinion in this thread matters, only mine --- it covers not only past posts but future ones. Your opinion doesn't matter.
Now you make take offense at that, but if you do you are not considering that once I decided to step across the line there is no going back. I made a decision, it will be followed through. Agreement or disagreement is irrelevant, it is already a "done deal".
I personally credit Kimp for making one false move --- the only one -- that could put the ball in my court. I don't control Speaknow. I don't control Rage. But breaking the ProQuake license agreement gave me an angle. He could have sabotaged servers forever, I don't have grounds under that.
The scope of the "other people's opinion doesn't matter" means I am not stopping and I won't cry for Kimp and I am quite comfortable with the future consequences he has to deal with --- he earned them.
I never liked the things Kimp has done. Not liking them doesn't give me any control over it. But breaking the ProQuake license agreement gave me control.Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

You say that you never liked things Kimp has done. When you and I had exchanged thoughts on Master Splinter's diatribes, I felt rather disappointed because I perceived your comments as tacit approval.

annoyed your still talking about these two bafoons. These guys have been met with only desires of removal from everything Q1 releated for about 2 years now.
Evaluating any concerns of Baker vs Kimp/Master Splinter attitudes, early on?

I had to accept the fact that while I didn't like what was going on, there also wasn't any direct connection that I could do anything about.
Obviously I care. Sometimes that doesn't translate into being able to help.
But I can tell from your post you know what I mean.
I appreciate the fact you understand what I was trying to explain. It is not always easy being the defacto person that people often attribute to being the answer to a problem.Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages.
