Umm, ya, I'm one of those ppL that dealt with kimps shit 1st hand, multiple occasions too, Mindz is definitely NOT exaggerating.. Why just check out my old posts of what initially got me started on kimp back in dec 08 or so. Kimp flooded me well over 20 times, impersonated a friend of mine to get me to play with him for a minute till i caught him, oh and botted, thats just a few things ive dealt with from his bitch ass

I personally like Kimp, but the idea that someone who has hacked servers, impersonated people who paid for servers and sent emails to their server hosts (that's a federal crime, btw) trying to get changes (he impersonated kathos to his server host. He did fool his server host and they installed an exe from kimp) is going to participate in these forums is a concept that is both a waste of your time and mine (and kimps).

If you want to do some good, say a prayer for Kimp to whatever deity or non-deity you do or don't believe in for his personal well-being.

wow... this shit is wild to me. First of all, I don't even really know who this guy is.. I've been playing again for about a month now and my experiences with this guy are this:

-He appears to be disliked by many who will name him immediately when server issues arise

-Within 2 days of me being back, this guy knew exactly who i was and basically spouted off my q1 history when I don't even know who he is

Noticed he's been banned from a few places. The weird thing to me is, I play TG's mostly and he has participated and seems okay. He legitimately plays and never caused an issue. Yet he's continuously named here for doing all sorts of stupid things.

I'll say this, I don't mind playing tdm with the guy, but the whole thing about impersonating Kathos and stuff like that is.... ridiculous and pathetic. Makes me wonder considering the fuckin guy knew everything about me. Strange dude.

There is no hiding from kimp, he is psychologically addicted to knowing peoples personal, past, present & future life. He knows how much i make a year, sadly to say it, he is an information nut and reminds me of wikipedia. You cannot ban him from a server, he proxies back in within 30 seconds after discovering he has been banned. All i can say is be prepared for him to come out with all your clothing size, shoe size and private area size.. Its coming just a moment longer before he gets your house address and stalks you from drones he hacks from the government. A little over board bit hes damn near close, he was unemployed for quite along time and this is the result we get. I was out of the game from 2002-2011. I came back he found out i was NP-striker and within an hour he was telling me my history from 96-02... Incredible that he has no life. Yoi have been warned. Warn your friends and family too, heck even your enemies.

yea concept, Kimp is like human spyware/malware in the quake community, he either sat in old chat facets of quake in a corner and quietly remembered everything from people that stood out or had admin access or owned servers etc.., and keeps tabs on users information that he considers really good at playing quake.. thank god im not on his radar cause im average on a good day.. He uses this information for his social hacking agenda as baker mentioned to obtain access, and as static mentioned to impersonate players handels to trick people into playing with him.. So banning him so hard to the resort of using very slow proxies is less than what he deserves.. All proxy,vpn,etc.. should not be allowed to view connect or login to site or game server.. unless you discuss it with an administrator and explain your reason. This is my opinion and I don't know how easy that would be, like have something that says vpn or proxy detected access to site/server denied.

Hey, give en0ch one more chance if you're feeling "nice." When I ran servers for QW and NQ, I got all kinds of requests to ban people, but I never did, because I was neutral and nobody's master. Other people like controlled environments, and thus ban problems, which is not even effective against the UDP proxies that enable people like en0ch to bypass IP bans. If he screws up again, I will take responsibility. If "kimp" thinks he is better than everyone else and thus is privileged to cause problems, his last chance will fall on me and I am vouching for him. En0ch, just don't violate the rights of others if you're ever on here again. I think he is a DM asset, but if he refuses to respect the other mods and causes problems, I respect your judgment of him. I know that my Quake experience would not have been the same without him, so he is an asset, at least to the DM community (which is my Quake). His problems are many, but if he screws up again, I will accept the responsibility of being wrong. For the record, I do not like the name "kimp" and I wish that he changed his alias permanently to Enoch (or whatever). You do not have to let him back on here; I am just giving you my input. If you do, and he causes more problems, I will ignore him altogether (a "mental" ban).
