ok, so wicked's first ban was, as he stated, intended to be temporary. mindz unbanned him, after realizing wicked put the ban on and who the "new guy" was, felt he shouldn't step on any toes and should put the ban back. now wicked is saying since mindz put the ban on, he gives him free-will and will not undo what he trusts mindz did is the right thing.

recap - wicked original(temporary ban), temp ban was forgot about, mindz unbanned not knowing the ban was the owners ban(a temporary one), rebanned. wicked sees it as mindz banned for something omi did, not the case, mindz rebanned thinking the forgotten ban was meant to stay. so it sounds like to me, no one has any current reason to keep the ban on.

I removed the ban before mindz or rook even got involved in this thread. So after i removed the ban, i had to go into the server it's self and remove the ban "unbanall" in the actual game. Soon as i posted my first comment on this thread i unbanned omi before i even posted it. So therefore the ban was removed before mindz could even unban to reban. i just checked the ban.cfg again, the only ban in there is kimps. 71;185;banned that is all that is in the ban.cfg. I have even cleared the banlist again in server. So no one at this point should be banned except kimp's ip address, my reason for this is because he lacks efforts to even play during a match, going AFK and such while match is in session. if people want to afk, go for it in observer or leave the server, not during a match. But right, i do not care personally if rook,mindz,bluntz ban anyone off the server as long as they see a reasoning behind it. Honestly banning now days is kinda lame, but sometimes people deserve it for temp reasons. Hopefully it gives them time to clear up the brain and rethink what needs to be done next time they are allowed on the server.

The world is a complicated place, with many questions and answers that we are not wise enough to yet understand.

Rather than contemplate these kinds of question, celebrate the three bottles of water. There are people in places like Somalia, Indonesia or Detroit that would love to have three bottles of water while contemplating any question.

Celebrate those three bottles of water. It is the best we can do.

on a side note - how is there not a truck quake yet? It could be GTA-esque with the addition of absolutely ridiculously over-powered weapons attached to the truck. Maybe even add a halo style thing-a-majiggy where every body from a team hops in the same truck and mans weapons while one guy drives. To make it even more "original" everything can happen on one stretch of road in a joust style event. Simplest map in the world, a road and a skybox. If neither truck is fully destroyed in a round, a new round begins with all damage still in tact.

Maybe a spinoff of CTF where both teams have a truck at their base. Instead of capturing the truck, however, the goal is to destroy the truck. There is no time limit, but rather a frag limit of 200. Destroying the truck counts for 100 frags. In this case, a team can still have their truck destroyed and win the match if they manage to get 200 frags quicker than the other team, which is highly unlikely but possible. It's also possible neither truck gets destroyed or both trucks get destroyed, resulting in your classic TDM match. No runes, no hook, no team damage, yes self damage.
