the mod does the banning, not the client. kimp just changes his ip and uses proxies. I had a good ban list for him on my old server which pretty much preventing him from getting on a server, but he eventually gets the picture and move on.

Larry was funny to me. I did not see all of his posts, baiting, flaming type shit, so maybe i shouldn't have commented that i liked his presence. Maybe i liked his presence in moderation. You were talking crazy shit the whole time like a psycho while I mostly ignored you, because I'm well aware that you're mentally unstable and get obsessed with players like Kimp and I who you perceive to be "enemies of Quake". It was after those first few DM games that I attempted to connect to this new server and realized I was banned from a server to which I had never connected. It made no sense. When I pretended to be someone else, you unbanned me long enough for me to be able to connect to the server. As soon as you realized it was me, I was again banned from this server. I have a hard time understanding why anyone would give someone with such terrible judgement admin to a server. Mostly because of situations like this. Stop pretending.

the in game admin bans are temporary. For you to have a perm ban, the owner of the server (or someone with access to the server) would have to physcially modify the ban file to add in your ip. I doubt mindz has access to wicked's server, but who knows.

I am on a brand new connection in a different city from where I last played. Literally the only way for me to have been banned from this server without ever playing on it is if someone I had been playing DM in my first game back to Quake (Mindz) banned me from it. When I switched under an alias and asked for an unban, he was able to unban me. As soon as he realized it was me, I was banned again. The craziness of this person cannot be understated. Notice he is talking and acting as though I've done something wrong and deserved the ban, when the ban was enacted prior to me ever having even played on the server. Really I'm done with this. Anyone who supports this guy and gives him admin to a server is a moron. He's trolling you guys just by being himself worse than Kimp ever was by fucking around.

I clearly stated i banned omi in the 2nd comment on this post. I removed the ban, as rook stated there was no ban under the ban.cfg (hint* because i removed it before rook seen it). Also Omi you have played on my server on atleast 2 different occassions and both time's you acted pretty content and nice about things. Soon as we went to quakeTX your ATTITUDE totally changed and we had that discussion about powers of pain. After that discussion you kept insisting i started the practice mode again on quake and got everyone playing it. We had exchanged some words, i told you to stfu more then once and the results were, you refused, so in order to maintain my sanity i banned you from my server(s) YES all 4 of them as a temporary messure to keep you off until i felt like removing you. In the mean time i forgot about the bans and left them on. You brought up this thread and i removed them. Refer to second comment as where i stated i banned you. I'm not denying it one bit.
The Server's were on a DIFFERENT DNS name. I recently purchased QUAKEITUP.COM.. They used to be SERVEQUAKE.COM. Quit denying you ever came on my server's with this new IP address, i still have it written on paper from over a month or 2 ago back when the DM scene came back for that short period. Now it's dead again and CAx has picked up. Myself,Rook,Mindz,Bluntz have admin to the server. If you get banned by anyone of them, i will not force them to unban you or anyone they choose to ban. As for kimp (yeah not his thread) but he is useless and does not play, and when he does, he AFK's half the game. That has to stop one way or another, he doesnt do it in DM and he wont do it on quakeitup.com period.

Sure, Omi has been in a pain in the arse quite a few times before [I had to add an extra feature to ProQuake server to stop him doing something annoying after he got banned] but hey, personality flaws are what make us different people ...
