I tried to have a sane discussion with Crow about the incident and he responded with accusations of "trolling", "ruining ca" and told me I had "better leave." Retro and Doug tried to talk to him about it, and he responded with something like "I'm warning you, don't troll." Sounds like a level-headed admin to me. Someone who you can't talk to, who won't explain his reasoning for handing out bans, and who threatens to ban you again for questioning his actions. We must walk on egg-shells when we are in a server because who knows what nebulous rules he has made up in his head, and citing these rules he will ban us, and again we must post a thread.

Since when did playing Quake become such a huge fucking hassle? Here's a thought: If no one is breaking your server with hacks or cheats, don't ban them. It involves 0 threads on quakeone.com, almost no bans, and results in more players on a server, because guess what, non-banned players can play. If someone is being a menace, use your words rather than your fake authority.

Mindz.. no one was there besides perochi and slutman and CROW who banned CD for no apparent reason. I mean a few of us were there at one point as well.. I got banned, Omi got banned, and i believe scott got banned.. then cd was by himself and got banned.. Crow is a shitsock..

I never got banned. I wasn't even there. I did come on the next day, and asked not to be banned for mentioning DM, but never did get banned.

You're recently just back in actions so some of it predates your return to Quake (I created that slimmed down Quake I sent you,20ish MB) AnonUploaded too.We're still cool, but it isn't so much you, you're lobbed into it because well,your apart of that crowd.


Wolv has admin at QuakeTX servers and has banned myself/WickedLord lately, and ZERO of those players who witnessed it happen gave a shit about the players being banned. It's only when the bullshit lands on their feet do they start having a concern.

Krix if you know me by now brah you know I'm easy to get along with and I don't usually go out of my way to stir shit in the quake servers,and if my opinion is "HA HA oh well" then you should realize there is way more weighed in from my perspective.

I personally hope the TDM community fn implodes on itself and CAx players can scoop up the remaining players that are left over.

I personally hope that all the true dm'ers continue to talk a lot of shit to the ca players and they never step foot on a dm server again.. ;p.. People who play dm can play ca... peeps who play ca suck**** at dm (giving a few the exception) .. I don't mind really myself.. can't we all just get along.. I play where there are people.. I've even enabled Impulse 22 and played.. Everyone knows everyone for the most part and knows everyone's personality.. We all talk shit to eachother on a fun basis. If yah can't handle a little bit of trash talk all in fun then you need to ragequit. Also, if your admin and can't ask someone to stop doing whatever it is that gets them banned in the first place then you have no business being admin.. All it takes is please stop or wait till after game. And if the please stop does not work then by all means put the BAN HAMMER down.. I've dont know how many times I've seen ca'ers come to the dm server and ask to go ca.. The true Dm'ers obv stay and the ca'ers obv go.. which ruins our games.. o well.. shit happens.. if a player wants to dm or ca or ctf or runequake or coop (TV) then by all means goathead!!!!

I don't agree with this point of view and I don't think any of us in dm do either. We welcome all players, and even if they suck we try to get them in games and carry them. However the point about us all playing all mods is dead on. There is no distinct ca vs. dm polarity. Many of us will play ca unless you push us away with awful admin behaviour and incoherent conversations. I don't think the biggest criticism is how bad ca players suck but more how terrible their conversations are or how irrational and mentally ill several of them are. The recent bans just reinforce that viewpoint.

Krix, I have taken time out of my day to 1v1 newbies and teach them basics of dm, such as item timers, map control, etc. Last night I played a guy who didn't even know a single thing about Quake. I only rage at established players who play dumb due to laziness.

There is no room for having an off day? Torwards the end of CAx tonite I started sucking and Vibe very much carried me the last game we played, not because I was getting lazy, because you pretty much was souring the GoodGame mentality. Just know I ached to mute you tonite because you should learn to stfu and just play. After all these years you have yet to exhibit any maturity,and continue to rage outloud no matter what mod your playing.

Goodgames though, just wish the wife hadn't WIN-QUIT so earlier today. HA HA, you could have gamed with MrsMindz.
