Total Harmonic Destruction unplugs CompWorld Frag Force
7/24/99, OGL Ladder, 2forts and 2morfort
Round One: 21-0
Round Two: 21-13

The first match was on 2fort on THD's Go Bucks server. THD got a quick cap after the match started and the defense settled in for a good game. Dm@n2b and Vex8 kept the pressure on CWFF's defense the whole time capping one right after the other. CWFF sent a steady stream of medics and soldiers for our flag, but the THD defense was able to stop all of them. CWFF didn't touch our flag once. Final score on 2fort was 210-0 in favor of THD.

Round 2 was on CWFF's server. THD was down 1 to 2 men most of the match as 1 of our members is having severe connectivity problems (poor, poor Oaf). CWFF took advantage of this by sending a heavy offense against our D. The defense did their job and limited CWFF's caps as best as possible. The THD offense was running full steam and had little difficulty capping. At the end of the game it was THD 210 and CWFF 130.

The scores reset mid way thru the 2nd round due to some appearant bug with 2morfort, but both teams played through it. CWFF were good sports and played a good game. We wish them the best of luck.

clan Maylstryx rolls Dice
7/24/99, OGL Ladder, 2forts and Well
Round One: 2-1
Round Two: 6-1

This match went very well considering how bad our luck was until about 10 minutes into the match. About 5 minutes before gametime we realized we would be playing "2 More Forts" in case there was a tie. Seeing as this was a europena clan, that seemed more than likely. Luckily, however, we ended up playing both rounds on North American servers. Although they were European, pings averages were almost identical.

Round 1 was on cM's beer server, and 2fort. In the early confusion of scout rushing and disconnecting (okay, just me disconnecting, but I took RW down with me), Dice grabbed a cap and settled in with a solid defence. Their mainly sentry based D tore into our mainly scout based offence, and it took a while before we managed to pry the flag out of the black hole that was their defence. After much slamming of our heads into their wall, and likewise their into ours, we switched it up a bit and added a soldier to our offence. After much effort we escaped with the flag that would end up being our winning cap.

Round 2 was on DONut family's New York server and there were great pings for cM, but once again the trans-atlantic connections of Dice couldnt get them the same speed they would expect at their own server. cM is well schooled in the well in preparation for an upcoming title match with the infamous Erinyes. We put ******* and ******'s on defence which held until the last few minutes. Our offence which consited of ***** *** **** managed to pull the flag out a few times, capitalizing with relays when possible. THe round ended with cM holding a 5 cap lead at 6-1.

Zodiac Braves zap Ride The Lightning
7/22/99, OGL Ladder, Rock and 2forts
Round One: 1-0
Round Two: 6-0

Coming off the long hard fought battle from =AR=, we were quickly challenged by RTL. Wanting to redeem ourselves showing that we can finish a game in 2 rounds, we went into this game prepared. Round one was slated to be played on Darkness, but due to several problems, we decided to play on Rock. The ZB offense quickly rushed the RTL defense and caught them in a state of disarray. After some touches, a ZB offensemen sealed the cap. The first round remained at one cap for ZB while RTL was prevented from touching the key in entirety.

Round two, was again played on RTL's server and 2forts was the map. ZB got off to the jump quickly and brought home the first cap. The ZB offense continued to bring home caps in a steady fashion while RTL's offense was limited to a couple of touches. Round two ended with a score of ZB 6, RTL 0.

Thanks for the good game RTL, and hope you do well in the future.

And from RTL:

What can I say...ZB pitched a shutout. They played great, we wish ZB the best of luck in future matches...gg

U Suck topples Hate Inc.
7/22/99, OGL Ladder, Well and 2forts
Round One: 5-4
Round Two: 6-0

Great game 1st round was on hate's west server on well...game start off fast with no death on start up there scouts where into our flag romm as fast as our defense could get there...hate started off with a fast 1st cap then our defense got into position and our offense manage to start pushing there flag out....from there it was hate's medic flying all over our well area with an ocasional spy popping up....caps where being made back and forth by both teams while we had lost 1 off and 1 def player in midst of the game we managed to hang in there till pople got back on and the game finish up 5-4 in favor of US

Round 2 we went to [US]'s server hoping to have a huge ping advantage over hate this round but we had major server problems for all east coasters, the west coast player seemed to be fine so with about an avg ping to hate on our own server we start some 2 fort action....right off hate was into of flag room with a touch and a run for the elevater which we manage to stop and our offense started working on them with meds and scout flying around all over the map. Our offense then manage to kick it into over drive and start pulling caps out about 1/4of the way there the game and our def.manage to only let our flag be taken 1 more time. eneding the rnd with a 6-0 win!

Great game Hate top notch play and sportmanship from ya as usual!

Coup de Grace quiets Talking Goats
7/22/99, OGL Ladder, 2forts - Run - 2forts - Well
Round One: 2-2
Round Two: 23-0
Round Three: 0-1
Round Four: 3-1

Talking Goats is good...Over the past two days we've had a nice little 4 round adventure with them. Round 1: We started off on their server, where we actually enjoyed a ping advantage. Tubaboy managed to hit a concussion jump from the bridge to the sniper deck and beat their defense to the BM. However he met up with a soldier and lost the flag at the spiral where Blade picked it up. Once Blade got to the bridge the pm bug hit and Tubaboy went out and grabbed the first cap. TG lost a man on defense, and CdG quickly took advantage of the hole from him not guarding the shaft. We sent down all 3 offensive players at the same time bringing the flag loose. Blade managed to get the flag out to the Spiral where Tubaboy picked it up taking it up to the sniper deck and using a concussion grenade to jump across to our own cap point for cap number two. TG not to be outdone, quickly plugged their hole and held the offense to no more caps. Through high coordination by their offense, they managed to force to caps out... the second one fought all the way to the cap point tieing the game. That's how the round would end.

Round 2: We head over to CdG's server at Michigan University, once again CdG sports a nice ping advantage, playing TG on Run. This matchup CdG runs them over racking up a score of 23-0.

Round 3: We go back to their server and play 2forts as a replay of round 1.TG manages to get a hard fought cap out of us again during the round making CdG's day impossible. CdG was able to make quite a few touches but never got it past the spiral. Great job on TG's defense staying with the flag like that.

Round 4: We played this round tonight, deciding against Invectus3 because of the bugs and the hard scoring. We played on TG's server again, sporting a better ping. The match starts up and both sets of scout meet each other in mid air with some excellent conc jumps. The flag is pretty still until Tubaboy, manages to get into the 4 pack alone and jumps across to the crevice above an unknowing defensive soldier. He knocks him off with a concussion grenade and relays the flag out the bars to Disruptor waiting below in the water just before the sentry kills him off. Disruptor takes the flag and throws it out the sniper deck for the relay cap. Time passes on without much more movement when TG gets a cap. Feeling the pressure, Tubaboy and Blade meet up. With sufficient distraction Blade gets the flag out and takes it home for a cap. As the cap is being made, Tubaboy jumps over the dispenser and relays it to Disruptor who takes it home. With a two cap lead and our flag loose, we send Disruptor on defense for the remainder of the match. As the round ended, Blade and Tubaboy were alone in the flag room setting up another relay.

Great game to Talking Goats you guys are a class act! That has got to be the best 4 rounds ever to date.

Crowbar Swinging Idiots outthink DF(?)
7/22/99, Top 10, Darkness
Round One: 14-10
Round Two: 12-6
Final Score: 26-16

The first game was a great one!
DF got the first 2 points. We got the next. Then they scored. And then we did. That kept going on 3 times. Then we increased defense and offense took charge pushing the score to 14 10, CSI.

The second game was off the hook as well.
The score remained 8 4, CSI until 20 minutes in to the game when DF made a beautiful capture. Our offense then pushed on and defense held their place and the score. The outcome was 12, 6, CSI

Black Sun finishes off TSUA
7/21/99, OGL Ladder, 2forts
Final Round: 1-0

HOLY SHIT! What a way to end an on going match. Both teams where anxious to get the match going, by showing up on the server 15 minutes early. But to ensure there where not going to be any last minute subs, we waited until 9 PM (EST) to start. In prematch, everyone was nervous. and rare'en to go. At the start our offense took off, resulting in a quick cap by Mech. But from there it was a pure defensive battle. TSUA just keep coming and coming. At one point I thought I saw Gerbal-TSUA caring suitcase's into our fort, ready to move in. Or offene was trying every move in the book to try and break through their defense, only resulting in a few touch's. Mean while, TSUA was just piling through the doors, trying to get our flag. But our defense held strong and they only managed to get the flag out of the flag room once, but never made it to the spiral.

After the match, TSUA and BlackSun stayed around to play a freindly game on the Well. Which was also FUN as hell! We thank TSUA for a well fought and tuff battle. We came, we played and most importantly we had FUN!

7/20/99, Top 10, Darkness
Round One: 24-26
Round Two: 43-28
Final Score: 67-54

The match started out fast and Furious with MaQ scoring first. The match was hard fought and close. However time expired and pX was defeated by 2. 26-24

The second match started the same as the first. About halfway through, pX put the pressure on and switched playing style. They held the other team to 2 points in the last 10 min of the match and won. 28-43

We would like to extend our hands to MaQ for they were a lot of fun to play. : )
Good game guys.

Good first game. Second game was full of 700+ ping for both teams. And we lost player from 1 game. We finish the game with 7 players.

Total Harmonic Destruction exorcises Demons of Apocalypse
7/20/99, Top 10, Darkness
Round One: 36-18
Round Two: 46-7
Final Score: 82-25

Both rounds were held on THD's Go Bucks server. Pings were even both matches. THD got off to a quick start in the first round and never trailed. Our offense was running smooth keeping the pressure on DoA the whole time. The DoA attack was having a fair amount of success against the new defensive strategy we were trying out. The first round ended 36-18 in favor of THD.

Round 2 started with both clans getting quick caps. We made some adjustments and dug in on D. DoA had little luck and few caps against us the rest of the way. The THD offense kicked it into a higher gear and capped one right after the other the whole second round.

-------
And from Demons of Apocalypse

Well we lost horribly, the first match was good, but they obviously are more experienced than us with clan matches cause it was our second ever. I dont even care about what the scores are cause they werent good, you can get the scores from them I am sure they run this tourney. Good games anyway, too bad for our defeat, maybe we will do better against the other clans. We all know who will win this tourney though, the same clan that made it, it is obvious after playing with them.

Coup de Grace has fun with Cogent Alliance
7/20/99, Top 10, Darkness
Round One: 6-2
Round Two: 12-2
Final Score: 18-4

Round one started out with the walls falling early and battle ready soldiers pouring out with unique precision for both teams, while at the same time the Defense's were preparing for the upcoming infiltrators. Both teams went at it using every skill and manuever that they knew. CA was able to touch the flag several times, but didn't make it out of base. CdG kept the CA Defense on their toes, eventually getting by, grabbing the flag and capping it. CdG's Offense was able to hound CA's Defense long enuff to pull the flag 3 times. CdG's Defense was also having a tough time, CA's Offense just would not let up and with 20 seconds left in the 1st round, they broke thru CdG's Defense and managed to get the flag home quickly enuff for a last second cap.

Round two started very much the same, walls came crashing down and the adrenaline started to pump in both teams again. CdG was able to get their wall down a tad faster, so I tried ( as HWguy) to stop them from bolting to our base. Not a good idea on my part, cause they came out, glanced at me for a second and roasted my happy ass. Same went for the rest of CdG's Offense, just as we thought we were clear, damn Sentry gun chopped us up. They went heavy on Defense, covering all entrances, and every angle. Every once in a while we were able to get passed the soldiers, take down that blasted sentry and pull the flag. Same was happening on the other side, our Defense had tightened up but CA's attacks were relentless and again they broke a hole in our Defense and was able to move the flag out for a cap. In the end tho, CdG's Offense was able to penetrate more and grabbed the victory.

Great Game against a Great Clan, CA fought hard with dignity and pride. CA, you are a very respectable group and it was a pleasure to play you, Hope to play you all again sometime. :)

And from Cogent Alliance

Our team started off at less than top form and we were unable to recollect ourselves for most of the game. Due to our mediocre perfomance, and CdG's coordination, we pretty much handed this match over to them... A dispointment to us, and a good game played by CdG... gg guys!

Digital Assassins hurt X-treme PaiN
7/19/99, OGL Ladder, 2forts and Rock
Round One: 12-2
Round Two: 11-0

I wish I could say that xPn were a class act. After a full weekend of berating and excessive trash-talking coming from a handful of their members, true sportsmanship prevailed in the end.

In the first map, 2fort, DA got off to a rather wierd start. xPn capped twice on us within a matter of 90 seconds as we were getting our Defense set up. After we got hunkered down, they touched the flag one more time and didn't cap again. Our Offense were their usual superb selves. They capped early and often, not letting up for one second. Great job was done by all, as the final score was 120-20. The unfortunate side is that the xPn member who talked the most trash all weekend before the match, quit after the first map.

In the second map, Rock, the DA Offense once again started early and often with the capping. Before the DA Defense was set up, it was already 30-0. Defense didn't allow xPn to touch the DA flag twice, much less cap it. About 15 minutes into the match, 2 more xPn members left the match using experlatives and metaphores only seen in bars and sailor movies. One of them was their leader. The final score on that map was 165-0, and a big weight was lifted off of my shoulders. After dealing with that clan, I have a big smile on my face knowing that the better clan won.

Thank you

Final Score: 38-3

This was a reschedule from last week. It was 1x45 on KiN's server where we had a good ping advantage. Our D was very tight only allowing 2 caps. (one on the divider for 1 point, and one in their base for 2)

KiN O was held to only 2 or 3 caps during the first 10-15 minutes but after GoH sent extra O we got relays quite a few times on their short handed D. All in all it was a good match. We look forward to playing GoH again very soon.

U Suck breaks up Cogent Alliance
7/19/99, STA, Darkness
Round One: 11-8
Round Two: 12-3
Final Score: 23-11

The usual close call for [US] on this map. I must say that CA did very well on offense both rounds. However, with a few adjustments, the [US] crew was able to command round 2 on the great CA server. This clan has great bunch of players. It was a pleasure. We look forward to meeting them again.

-------
And from Cogent Alliance:

Our first round started off well and ended to our satisfaction, even though US was highly organized and managed to keep our offense at bay. The second match was vital to us, and being on our server we were hopeful, however we failed to live up to our full potential and US taught us some lessons. GG US, you taught us a few things.

Talking Goats herd away Critical Error
7/19/99, STA, Darkness
Round One: 9-2
Round Two: Forfeit

Okay, First I must say that I hate to complain about other clans (and the majority of times we have meet up with great clans that show class) I don't even know where to start with our latest match vs Critical Error. It would take me way too long to document all the problems.

First round was on their server and our pings were averaging over 500 for the majority of the match, they didn't even have the map, they wouldn't turn on Friendly Fire, they trash talked us, etc etc, but we played anyways. It was 8 on 8 and our Offence dominated the game. I don't know how as our Defence only saw about 5 of their guys all match And after about 15 minutes we were up 90-20. And that is when the big problem happened. They brought their server down (yes and even admitted it) So we told them that we were taking that round as a win of 90-20.

Then we brought our server up and they showed up with 3 guys for the 2nd round. We took the forfeit of the 2nd round and got to play a whole 15 minutes. What a waist of our time.

The only positive thing that I can say about Critical Error (damn I hate being negative) is that their leader "Goofy" is a great guy and he tried his hardest to get things working on their end. Hats off to goofy and to the rest of Critical erro r" Kiss my Goat A....."
-[TG]Redrum

------
And from Critical Error:

Not much to say we played both rounds although my server fore the first round got fead up and quit the game, the second round we played abotu 10 min and they shut it down ebcuase there was only 2 people.

Hate Inc shuts down Cybertron Warriors
7/19/99, STA, Darkness
Round One: 44-3
Round Two: 48-3
Final Score: 92-6

I quote our defense to me after the match...
"We were bored."

Suppose if you didn't have to deal with mm1 during the game, and all the predictable 'you must be 12' stabs, HateInc came in a wiped the walls with robot parts with a good beating in mind.

The second map, it seemed they took to the 'headless chicken' defense, and not sure what their offense was doing; hardly saw them coming across. When the def captain says to me "Are they sending anyone over?" kinda seemed to me like either their gameplay was powderpuff and whispy that we didn't even notice, or they just weren't respawning...

The jury is still out on that, but the scoreboard says it all.

92-6 damn.

And from Cybertron Warriors

Well i must say playing HATE was a wake up call. For playing against a high ranked clan there were top notch and an excellent team. But as far as there attitude they were a bunch of A$$holes! Being at a disatvange of all 8 players of HATE pinging 100 or less. And being such poor sports. Gosh it is A$$hole teams like this who do not make the game fun at all. But yet considring wiping ourselves from the floor we congratulated HATE on there victory with no thanks. I Look forward in playing a team at least who has a good attitude next week = )

Round One: 39-6
Round Two: 29-31
Final Score: 68-37

This was a very good match on both teams parts. First round dire was on a role with offense, and defense only let through 3 caps. It was a tough battle for C-D, but they managed to get those 3 (each cap was worth 2, because they capped on there balcony). In round 2, dire went 3 dmers in their yard. And no internal defense. Just for fun, and C-D ended up killing us with there concing medic. Dire responded with going all out o. with one or 2 in the base on d. We ended up cathcing up, and we were capping madly as was C-D. Round2 ended with C-D ahead by 2 (31-29 C-D). I would like to congratulate C-D on a great come back, and i hope to play you guys again.

Round One: 5-0

This was a very good match, and i would like to thank all of CW for being good sports. The match started off with an offensive rush by DiRe. We scored 3 caps, and our defense held its own till the end with only 2 touches by the CW offense. The offense in that round managed to pull off 2 more caps against CW's seemingly impenetrable defense. In the second round, DiRe started off with a quick cap, and was then held down for a while by a very large offensive rush by CW. CW then capped once. Dires defense tightened up, and we only let one more cap through our hands. Then close to the end DiRe capped twice more, bringing the total up to 3, and CW at 2. This last match was a very good one on both teams part. I would like to say good job CW for your awesome recovery in the second round. Thankyou and good bye.

Clan Erinyes hands a first loss to Kindred
7/18/99, IGL, Well
Round One: 8-0
Round Two: 6-5
Final Score: 14-5

This was a great win for CE. We practiced like absolute fiends for this match. Every day of the week our defense was fine-tuning itself, trying to hold off 6 CE offensive players out for blood and cloth. By Sunday afternoon our defensive squad was amazingly tight and ready for action. Our offense had learned a few tricks along the way, as well. Gametime, baby!

Round one was on Comedian's House o' TFC, with CE sporting a slight ping advantage. When the gun went off, both clans sent four on offense, a pretty decent mix of heavy and light classes. After a couple runs CE managed to get by KiN's well soldiers and the gun in the flag room, tossing the flag through the bars and onto the bridge. The cap was brought home and our offense began to relax and play smart. Ares-[CE] impressed the KiN defense with his mid-air mirv tossing, finally forcing them to stop using a sentry gun. A piper was put in place but it wasn't able to fully stop the rolling CE offense. 8 caps were gathered by the end of the round.

On the other end of the map, the CE semi-lanned defense (muhaha) held amazingly tight, limiting KiN's touches, and holding any flags that got out of the well room. All the practice paid off in a big way, earning CE a big lead going into the second round; 8-0.

Round two, CE kept the same four on defense (Heavensgate, Ramrod, Rasta, and Bacchus), using basically the same setup, but we put in four new players on offense. We had so many good practices that we had tons of players ready for action. KiN had the ping advantage this round on their home server. We decided to stay with four on offense to keep up the pressure. CE wiggled out the first cap and KiN matched it soon after. Caps were traded back and forth throughout the round with CE always one step ahead. Time ran out with CE up 6-5.

There was a lot of hype surrounding this match and both clans were really pumped up to play. I'm sure our two clans will be facing off many times again in the future and I hope all the future matches can be as enjoyable as this one was.

PS. Kindred was nice enough to buy CE a beer after the match. You can see that here. Thanks Kindred!

This was a damn good game I must say. The first round especially. While doing our normal spyjobs b4 the actual game, some of us glanced at their Offense and knew our D would not have an easy time...we were right. Thankfully, our O managed to keep just ahead of them, ending the game for round 1 at a close 60-50...during the break period, we schemed and fine tuned our strategy..which I think was responsible for the larger margin victory in round2...but nonetheless we were constantly on edge knowing that AR very well could of turned the game around if we gave them anything less than our best, very GG:)

Round One: 4-1
Round Two: 4-0
Final Score: 8-1

][nsurrection gives love to HATE....wow what an exciting match, after our last couple of matches we knew what we had to do to keep ourselves in the running for that glorious igl title.both teams were ready for battle when the bell sounded, our offence came out with our guns blazing..about 2 mins into the match ][ pulled out our first cap from then on in we just kept the pressure on them capping a few more througout the match.our defence did an awesome job by only giving up one cap, alls i have to say is we were definately ready for this match and were not looking to go home with our heads down.

Round 2.. we pretty much started where we left off...with DeMize getting a quick cap before thier soldiers and engi got to the top of the flag....our defence was poised on not giving up a cap this round and didnt, we managed to pull out a few more caps before the round ended with us victorious.

gg hate definately look forward to future matches.

Coup de Grace shuts out NULL
7/18/99, IGL, Well
Round One: 2-0
Round Two: 3-0
Final Score: 5-0

Round one started with great offense and defense from both teams. Eventually, Blade[CdG] broke the calmness (well, it wasnt too calm, just no flag touches) when he went spy. With the flag on the bridge, the NULL defense rev'ed into high gear, killing scouts left and right. Eventually, the flag returned, only to be brought out again to the same position. This was repeated many times more, but the CdG offense sneaked out 2 caps after the 4 of us died about 10 times each :). On CdG defense, ShadowRunner owned the lifts, letting almost no one down. A few times, NULL grabbed the flag, but were quickly disposed of by the defense. Round 1 ends. 2-0 in favor of CdG.

The second round started out much the same way, but NULL changed their defense a bit to include a sentry. This proved to be a big problem for the CdG offense. Eventually, Blade[CdG] got up into the flagroom, and got their flag down to the bridge. The CdG offense capped twice like this, with much opposition from N|Cannon_Fodder and the rest of their defense. And then ApollO[CdG] pulled out a lucky coast to coast cap. CdG defense continued their shutout, with ShadowRunner and Barker cleaning the house out. The round ended after a well fought battle at a score of 3-0. Final score, (in case you weren't counting), 5-0 in favor of CdG. NULL fought a great battle, and we wish to play them again in the future. Apollo[CdG]

And now for an analysis of the experiment CdG and NULL participated in by using a Mountain Server Group server for both rounds of our match:

First off, we'd like to forward a big thanks to the MSG folks for hosting our IGL match. I'd recommend their services to any clan in need of a server. I must say, however, that the servers MSG hosts(I believe located in Colorado) are not exactly neutral as far as ping though. Our clan, mostly east coast average pinged approximately 100 higher than NULL(actually NULL/103 vs. CdG/203). In fact, two of NULL's players sported fine sub-40 pings, while CdG's lowest ping was 111. The highest ping for NULL was 152, while CdG's highest was 451. Once again, I would strongly recommend this service for clans needing a server, however, I don't believe they provide as neutral a server as might be promoted. Our TFC servers in Michigan provide both east and west coast clans very good pings(cable modems around 70-100). I believe the MSG servers are clustered in the western U.S., and tend to serve clans with more members out west best. So if you're a clan with a lot of east coast members, I'd recommend trying to use a more centrally located server for at least one round. Barker[CdG]

Evil Dead bites WOLF
7/18/99, IGL, Well
Round One: 12-11
Round Two: 10-0
Final Score: 23-11

The first round ED and WOLF were quite evenly matched, we played the first round on the Evildead's server. With a strong offense on both sides, scores were high. Evildead bearly took the round in the last minutes of it. Then for the second round we moved on over to WOLF's server. There was some delay in the start of the match gettings the server settings straightened out. Durring this delay WOLF had two members drop. They started with 6 against our 8. By they end of the round they had one member rejoind for a 7v8 match, but the lack of members opened a hole in their defense and evildead had a shut out round.

And from WOLF:

we played well the first....but sucked the second

Bringers of Great Pain hurt Comp Worlds Frag Force
7/18/99, IGL, Well
Round One: 8-5
Round Two: 2-0
Final Score: 10-5

Comp Worlds Frag Force caught us BGPers off guard with a rush of several scouts, which led to them capping the flag 3 straight times. CWFF's defense was tough in the beggining of the first match but quickly seemed to fall apart toward the middle.

In the second round we changed our defensive classes to change, their offense hadn't changed so we stopped em dead.

Total Harmonic Destruction flies by Blood Angels
7/18/99, IGL, Forfeit

Aparrently Clan Blood Angels broke up weeks ago. At least this is what their former co-leader told us on a public server. All attempts at reaching them this week by ICQ and email failed. I went to the Ironglove IRC channel and stayed there from 8:30PM EST to 9:30PM EST. No one showed up of course and THD gets the forfeit win. I have no idea why these guys were even let into IGL in the first place. I really hope in the future that clans get checked out before they are let into IGL. Perhaps checking to see if they even have a webpage would be good place to start!

BlackSun still going against TSUA
7/15/99, OGL Ladder, Well - 2forts - Rock - Rock
Round One: 4-0
Round Two: 0-2
Round Three: 0-0
Round Four: 0-0

Yes as you can tell, this match is still not over. But let me give you a little history about this match. This match first started back on 13 July and due to some incorrect settings on their server it wa agreed apon by both clans to have a re-match on 15 July.

15 July-Both teams showed up ready to go. Everyone in good spirits and wanting a little fun. All four rounds where played on the Mountain Server Group server #6.

Round #1 started out hot and heavy, both clans made some serious attacks on each others base's. BlackSuns defense stood strong as the offense managed to cap the flag 4 times.

Round #2 once again started out fast, but this time TSUA was not about to be out done. With some awsome scout/soldier combo's the beat their way into BlackSuns fort and stole the flag from right out front of our nose's. Then they said, what the hell, lets do it again. And they did! But all this time BlackSuns offense was having a hell of a time getting the flag out. They would get in, touch the flag and move it a little. But could never get it all the way out.

Then came the two rounds of the Rock. You ask why 2 rounds. Well, after the first round, both clans where a little tired. It was getting late and yes tempers started to flair. But both Clan leaders put a stop to it and talked between themselves on which map to play next. So after some talking it was agreed to play the Rock again, because it appeared that, that was the map both clans where equal on. But the 4 round turned out to be just like the first. BlackSun was able to get the key numerous time over the course of both rounds, but just couldn't get it too the gas chamber. TSUA's defense would just not allow it. And the worst thing about it all is, the fact that [BlkSun]Mech was on his way to the gas chamber, with the key, and no one in his way when the time ran out in the 3rd round.

I would like to thank all the players of this on going match. Both sides played fair, played honorably and despite that little tantrum after the 3rd round, played without complaint. We thank TSUA for one hell of a battle and can not wait for the final Tie-Breaker match's on Wednesday. No matter what the outcome, both clans have already WON!

Cyber Warriors fix Critical Error
7/15/99, STA, Rock2
Round One: 2-0
Round Two: 7-1
Final Score: 9-1

First round: This was a good match down to a last minute score on the 28 minute mark by Starscream[-CW-]. The defense of [CE] was top notch and played well. I would like to thank Goofy[CE] for being a good sport. A well played game.

Second round: Due to poor sportsmanship of some of [CE] players a few had dropped and did not want to play and left only 5 stayed. I give them credit for holding out. It was just too much for 5 vs 8 . Again those who stayed i thank you.
Galvatron[-CW-]

From Critical Error:
On the second round they had 9 we had 4 players, the first game it was 8 on 6 for them so basicaly they outnumbered us both games. The second game was more of a screw around since it was obvies that 9 on 4 we were going to lose. They also had a 100 ping advantage on us, otherwise it was a fair game.
