yeah, its mad nice. btw, amazing job on the skins! I'm probably going to use the old skins instead though..because I think they look better for Quake and they are more like the original ranger...but this is what I was waiting for! =]
hmm maybe i'll just make a "Ranger" skin for ya cause the old skin pak will not give correct colors...
EDIT: ^^ oh you posted as i was creating this message
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.
So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...
I think winXP only directly supports 2 extra mouse buttons (XButton1, XButton2) which can be used without any drivers (that would be mouse4, mouse5 in quake).
r00k thanks for qrack 1.85! I've noticed one minor quirk/bug. When using your suggested bind sfor "I am at Mound with my RL and 13 rockets" it will not show the weapon type for shotgun or axe. Would you add those please?
Also when there are no loc files, qrack displays the coordinates. Can those be changed to 'unknown location' by default? I don't know anyone who has memorized the coordinates and if they have then they really need to get laid!
Ah but a mice thing I added to Qrack IS that is you HAVE locs and someone else spams their %l bind without a loc file of their own, then YOUR qrack will decypher the message and use THOSE coordinates to output the LOCATIONS described in your .loc file. So, its only present to people without .loc files while still being of use to those who dont , neat huh?
example I dont have mapx.loc but you do, and i press my I am at %l bind, on screen i see the "x y z" coordinates, on your screen though you will see "I am at RED ARMOR"...
that looks good! and the proportions look right on. Yellow#5 made something similar just the other day...
player_3.png and player_1.png are used in CRCTF, which uses a player model with 4 skins. 2 for red 2 for blue. 2 and 4 has a visor on the helmet... i just skipped that.
