      I am curious, what sort of SFX did you have in mind? The Widowmaker certainly could do with a different sound, it just uses the SSG at the moment from Doom.

      Has anyone tried the new patch2 with DP or WinQuake engines?
      Any new/old bugs to report?

        • oh i forgot to add, I got AD working with Qbism without any fuss. It looks okay, but i perfer it in QuakeSpasm strangely enough. I think it's just because there's so many colors, and the software engine gets a little overloaded.

            Models look good in super8 and MarkV winquake. Seams on the axes are clean and everything clips properly. No warnings in developer mode.

              The palette limitation is definitely a challenge with AD and other recent complex projects. Mankrip (author of Makaqu software engine) has some great thoughts about this The Colours Out of Space | mankrip

                      I don't mind. I thought the scorpion model was terrible with a weird skin and pixel density, but I do like the enemy design. I would recommend the model is replaced with something better and more 'quake' like than repainted.

                          I would highly recommend avoiding all Hexen2 assets in this MOD, they are the source of much frustration for some people and should be completely replaced.

                          I believe that AD patch 2 is a good place to stop and move on to other projects. The ModDb page and YT channel from me are also gone. If anyone wants more help or updates for the MOD, please visit Quaddicted or Func pages.

                              • found these two from a while back. these were made for arcane dimensions since the new shotgun sounds (imo) sounded off (doom shotgun + default, q3 arena shotgun). just thought i'd share these with everyone here.
