That looks awesome (no hyperbole). I actually only came on here to say that I was still loving Arcane Dimensions. Last night I was at it for 4 hours before I realised that it was 3 in the morning! I haven't done that since the 90's.

(The source code for the Google Cardboard version seems to be only available to those that purchase it, but since it is all GPL it could be legally released separately).

I have not tried this specifically, but generally speaking Cardboard works great these days with the right mobile/headset combination and a bluetooth input device.

That's great idea using a map made by you for A.D. 1.5, it fits perfectly! Also Ivory Tower in my opinion would fit perfectly with the AD theme

I wonder if the guys that take part in the Func/Twitter jams would be interested in making a shareware episode inspired map set with all the bells and whistles that AD offers? It would be great to see what a modern take on the old levels would be like. It would also make for a nice 20th birthday celebration - seeing where Quake started and where it is today.

Indeed, Ivory Tower is a good fit, probably save this map for a later update as I have 5-6 new AD maps already.

Not sure if this is possible at the moment, not many mappers around what with summer and nice weather outside! Maybe something for colder months!

Does Custom Gamer (Daz) of Youtube fame frequent these boards. It would be really cool if he did an in depth review of the forthcoming release. Perhaps a crossover with ArrrCee and Daz playing some MP!?

I don't believe Daz reads these forums and its unlikely he's doing anymore Quake Custom Gamer Videos in the foreseeable future. I know its a great shame, but I do totally understand why. Creating any in-depth video with a good play though and thoughtful commentary takes a crazy amount of personal time.

Also someone over at MODdb has released some Custom Weapon models for AD !!!

That's disappointing. I really liked his vids. I have also been waiting to see if he would cover Arcane Dimensions. I noticed hot the amount of content he puts out has slowed down quite drastically. Still have hope he may put something out Quake related in the future though.
